...WTF are some people supporting this team for if they come out with utter tripe like that when we win a game and book our place for round 4?

Have some people been that bent out of shape by Benitez being appointed that they've become alienated form an Everton away win in the FA Cup?

Horerendous. I actually feel a bit sorry you if you do feel that way.

I'm very pleased we won and so are the majority of blues. How have you become so detatched from main stream Evertonians that you'd not feel like the rest of us?

Happy with the win? Yes I am. Happy with the performance? No, as we needed extra time to scrape by a League One-bound side. I'm looking at the bigger picture and to my eye we're not going to be as fortunate against Premier League opposition unless the overall performance -- especially at the back -- improves drastically.

Some of us want us to actually be a decent side Dave. Granted not all of us, but some of us do.

Could have been better but this last few months have been our worst that I can remember.

Look at the youngsters he's either promoted or brought in.

We are heading AT LAST in the right direction.

We need to gradually get shut of the Koeman / Silva / Ancelotti tat.

The owner surely knows that and is allowing him to get on with it.

I’m not looking for a fight here Dave, but we’re a shambles aren’t we? The set up is terrible, and he can’t seem to inspire any commitment or application from them. I’m by no means letting the players of the hook here, but letting Rondon play 110 minutes or whatever? He was dreadful tonight. You must see that’s manager ego coming above the team there.
