We could have scored 5 or 6. Talk about accentuating the negative.

The game wasn't on over here, so all I had to go on was the BBC live feed and nothing I saw said we should have scored that many. Indeed, the feeling I got was Hull could have had three or four themselves. But that's all conjecture. Coulda, woulda, shoulda, it doesn't matter.

I’m not looking for a fight here Dave, but we’re a shambles aren’t we? The set up is terrible, and he can’t seem to inspire any commitment or application from them. I’m by no means letting the players of the hook here, but letting Rondon play 110 minutes or whatever? He was dreadful tonight. You must see that’s manager ego coming above the team there.
You single out Rondon. Why? All the maanger's predecessors signings are letting us down. The players he's bought and allowed in like Gordon have boosted us.

Do you expect the finished job after 6 months when this club has had 4 managers that ruined us spending a fortune in the process?

I'm celebrating an Everton win. You call that "a rise".

FFS lad, take a look in the mirror before you take shots at me.
I'm also enjoying that Everton win, as no doubt you are.

As for Benitez, he should never have been appointed our manager. But him and Martinez are literally the only things I've seen you hapoy about since me joining this site back in 2008.

But hey enjoy, whether it's genuine or that what I suspect it to be.

Benitez won that game for us back in the summer when he signed Gray and Townsend.
I could have sworn there were more than 2 lads in blue on the pitch tonight, but then mathematicals was never my best subject.

Too bad they couldn't do it a bit more often against teams in the same league as them. That would have been nice.

We won.

End of.

Where would you put him on the giant list of Everton problems?

I'd put him as one of a number of large problems at the club. Not sure why people need to be shoehorned into thinking just one thing is the issue. The players are crap but so is the manager. Just because they are doesn't mean he doesn't need replacing. We are going very noticeably backwards.

Apparently to some posters the poor defensive performance, tactics, awareness, is all down to the players. The win was all down to the manager.
Well clearly its both, when we win and loose. I've never understood why we only ever blame a manager after a loss, it's not like he is giving the ball away or passing to the opposition. I do think his tactics and subs are questionable at best, But we won today against a team and cheating ref so for that...Happy as.
COYB's !!!

Disastrous.

How is it disastrous when we won the game?

"Disastrous"
"Disgraceful"
"Pathetic"
"Terrible"

...WTF are some people supporting this team for if they come out with utter tripe like that when we win a game and book our place for round 4?

Have some people been that bent out of shape by Benitez being appointed that they've become alienated form an Everton away win in the FA Cup?

Horerendous. I actually feel a bit sorry you if you do feel that way.

I'm very pleased we won and so are the majority of blues. How have you become so detatched from main stream Evertonians that you'd not feel like the rest of us?
This your version of a ‘fachts’ meltdown
