Loads of mistakes are being made but people who expect champagne football and a 5-0 win haven't been following Everton's cup exploits for very long. It's always nervous, crap affairs. Just enjoy that we are in the hat.

I find it incredible that in 2022 long term posters here still engage and try argue with dave . He's been a wum for years and wants people to disagree and argue with him no matter the topic.

Three games we’ve had against poor Championship sides this season - all three were very very even games that could have gone either way.

I wish that were true mate. But it's not. There is a deep rooted feeling of hatred toward any Everton manager now amongst a minority of fans...the ones who think they speak for us all but dont.

I think you will find that happens at most club's mate, I personally don't like Benitez but I don't hate him, in fact I don't think I hate anyone, I dislike his brand of football and think he's not a particular nice person, I look at the way he sets his sides up and think it's very dated and believe results are proving me right on that. Martinez was more of a person who for me, wants to play the game the right way, people will point to Bobby's signings but forget how much of a shoestring budget he was on.I believe Benitez will have a lot bigger budget under the owner but I don't trust him to buy the quality of player's Bobby would with decent money.

I think he is between 40-60, like me, and holds good knowledge of our good times.

He also makes some valid points mostly, it’s just his delivery methods on occasions let him down……. but it is a forum after all, no one right, no one wrong.
