The simple fact is that since Moshiri came in, we have no clear understanding of which players were bought by which members of staff/managers.

That is the biggest problem, we have no idea who is doing what at our club. Does anyone really know what Sharp will bring to the boardroom going forward? The answer is no and to be honest, his background doesn't suggest he has the business acumen to steer Denise in the right direction.

Wonder what Dave makes of Benitez signing a Liverpool 2005 shirt when he got off the coach at Hull...
I’m no defender of the man, but that’s a no-win situation to be put in.

If he signs it, he’s still a red. If he doesn’t sign it, he’s a jerk.

The simple fact is he shouldn’t be our manager, and therefore that eventuality should never have arisen.

Selling Digne and bringing in two new full-back tells me Benitez is being allowed time to get this right. If we could slowly as a club get some respect back by offloading some of the "talent" we have signed in the Moshiri era and rebuild again then I see that as progress. We operate better without a DoF in my opinion having one person deciding on transfers. Iwobi seems out of the picture which is great news. We need to bring in an attacking midfielder and a central defender now.

Folks, if Alan Ball, when manager of City saw an Everton jersey, do you think he wouldn't sign it?

I worked in 3 Government Departments over 37 years before, thankfully, retiring last month. I still respect my previous Departments while giving my all to my last one

Got to sign those Department for Transport hi-vis vests when they're offered up.

I don't think any of us would complain if he signed his resignation.
