I really really really hope someone asks Moshiri at the AGM (if it even happens), of ALL the managers in world football why is it Benitez he chose to go all in on? It honestly makes no sense at all..
I'm just guessing here, but seeing as the AGM (if it ever actually happens) is an online event, surely all the questions (assuming there are any allowed) will be pre-approved in advance, wouldn't they?! If so, they'll be softball nonsense with pre-prepared answers.

Can't see our board/owner being too keen to sit infront of real people in an open forum event any time soon.

I'm really excited about seeing the fruits of Tony Benitez's New Everton revolution against Norwich on Saturday.

His very appointment was our equivalent of the Blair's clause 4 moment? Of severing the past and doing the unthinkable. For dropping the commitment to state ownership, read hiring an ex-Liverpool manager.

Bold moves require fortitude and strong beliefs. He IS our Tony Blair.

? Things will only get better ?

Is it unfathomable? I mean every team in the world that has a centre forward of any considerable size has them back defending corners. Having said that, they also have centre backs that can head a ball and mark players too.
Harsh that. I've seen our defenders sticking like glue to the player next to them, not giving them an inch to breathe and stopping them from being involved in play.

Unfortunately, they're marking other Everton players, but they're damn good at it!
