A proper plan now there's an idea other than the stadium I don't see us having any proper plan or visionSurely there would be a lot more flexibility for someone in the summer bearing in mind those out of contract? Time to draw up a proper plan.
Part of the issue with Benitez is it never seemed like a long term appointment anyway given how contentious an appointment it was.
I think;
Sack him tomorrow - we finish midtable.
Keep him until the end of the season - we finish midtable.
The concern for me is someone who I figured would be interim/under a Director of Football could be given the opportunity to try a rebuild in the summer
He's practicing spelling his name properly with a plate of AlphabitesDoes he know about it?
Was nothing in the quotes on the website but he does have the presser tomorrow@BlueToff was saying earlier mate that Benitez hasn’t said anything yet.

Can't wait. My absolute favourite part of the week!Was nothing in the quotes on the website but he does have the presser tomorrow
The four games coming up, we have to take 7-9 points IMO to ensure we shouldn't get dragged into a scrap.I think;

One way of looking at itYou're right, he had loads of time and was outperformed by Sam Allardyce's Sunderland which is why they were relegated.
Gray and Gordon are just about the only thing going well, we are unquestionably worse in every department and by every metric even compared with last year's luke warm season. I'm happy for you that you are relaxed about our situation but I find it odd that you don't understand why people are less relaxed than you. Our tactics are bizarre, our performances are abject, our manager seems intent on picking fights with the fans, current players and club legends and we have accrued 6 points from the last 36 available, but Gray's playing well. I couldn't care less about Benitez's balls, I care about what's between his ears and it appears to be pig faeces.
I have followed him since 2005-6 , he is one the best i have seen. Give him 3 years, and you shall see yourself pushing for title, you will be attached to his style of management, the football, the players he will bring in, everything.How he gives top clubs run for their money with average budget is in itself an art. He is divisive though, divides fanbase into fans who start supporting him more then the club at times, i was one of them unfortunately.

We will see. Even in Martinez season one, I have always felt since Moyes, that every decent run was built on sand. I am hoping, and I admit hoping, that sorting our awful signings and getting a few in who are desperate to make a mark will at last give us a solid base again.He inherited a midtable/top 10 side.
He'll turn us into a bottom half of the table side.
He'll dismantle and spend millions to make us....a midtable side (at best).
Yup. I look forward to more hard-hitting journalism and tough questions like "so Rafael, are you pleased to have added a signing?" and "are you hoping for a win at the weekend?" etc etc.Can't wait. My absolute favourite part of the week!
End of the day mate the likes of Arteta, Lampard, Gerrard, Xavi and Rooney etc are probably the future crop of top managers just like Ancelloti, Conte, Simeone, Dalglish etc were at one point too after their playing career. Doesn't mean they'll all turn out to be great (see Koeman) but you don't know if you don't take the risk. Would rather have Rooney or Lampard in the dugout than Benitez atm tbhWould be a disgrace if that bald granny shagger was allowed anywhere near the dugout.
