I wanted him to do well becuase I wanted Everton to well, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Anyway how many of our fans shamefully still idolise Carlo, or Lukaku and Digne and others who did wrong by us and left, loads do, least I wanted Rafael to succeed, some fans wanted him to fail from day one.

….we all want Everton to do well, but that doesn’t mean irrationally & continually idolising a manager whilst calling out fans with informed views who were entirely correct in voicing their concerns.

Not a hope in hell you'll get that from his acolytes mate, if Benitez does get the sack they'll just blame the fans who were against him saying we drove him out.

Fans haven’t driven him out. He’s driven himself out through refusing to drop the same players that have had other managers fired. Ultimately he’ll pay the price for that. You can’t hold your house on sand, and Coleman and Keane are the quicksand sucking Everton down the table more and more every season.
