In the past 10 years we sat back and let them win a semi final. We gave that horrible get a derby day hat trick for his scrapbook. We gave their former manager 19 games to effectively run us into the ground without any thought of sacking him until it was unavoidable.

I honestly don't get this, there is only one player here from all the managers. Each manager has brought in a bunch of players. Is he saying EVERY single player is trying to get every manager fired? The argument that "it's the players" is a bit of an easy excuse to deflect from a poor manager/coach imo..

No. It was widely reported that there was a disagreement over the strategic direction of the club (or lack of) so he walked. I doubt either kenwright or moshiri would've sacked him as he was a convenient distraction from their mismanagement.

Look, Benitez knew that if DCL got injured that he’d need an additional striker so he brought in Rondon. Look at the likes of the other bottom half teams, they all have better strikers than Rondon. The bloke is inept and antiquated and not capable to manage at an elite level anymore. He needs to go and it should have happened at 5pm, there is no need for a board meeting it should have been already planned.
