Know what you're saying, but the word, 'innocent' carries a lot of implications, mate. If the club decide his particular style, or whatever, don't fit in with the current strategic direction, and they want to find him another home to his liking, it's not like they're selling him into slavery in Siberian salt mines, or mowing down a zebra crossing full of orphans while blotto, is it? I accept that there are conflicting views as to whether JR is an idle dilettante, who can't be bothered, or whether the manager and club actively desire to get rid of a bloke who wants to do his best, but don't think guilt or innocence comes into it, really.

Brands is little more than a glorified scout these days - I would rather we get rid of the DOF system myself.
Benitez by all accounts is a football maniac so surely he would be able to do his own scouting along with the scouting department etc.

Benitez won't be looking any further than the end of this season probably like 80% of the managers in work ,it's up to the club brands etc that should have a longer view strategy going forward

We have started with either Townsend and or iwobi in every game so far this season.
They are both very average players.

Not at all mate - certain players suit certain systems and James doesn't suit ours whatsoever.
James replaces Townsend and he doesnt help Coleman out which has been vital at times this season.
James replaces Gray and we dont have the constant threat on the counter attack with Grays raw pace.
James also means Doucoure needs to babysit him defensively and can not burst forward like he has been doing to great effect this season.
He's a luxury player at present in the Ozil mould.
