Scored plenty this season but defensively have been an absolute shambles. Can't defend crosses for our lives.

we've gone from one of the best defenses in the league to one of the worst. We've kept one clean sheet in his entire tenure, and I honestly cannot see us beating Norwich, particularly if they sack that awful manager they have before then.

Biggest red flag of the season so far that one. We are conceding an alarming amount of easy goals for a defensive maestro manager. Another couple of losses after this I can sense a pay off.

Yeah, this is concerning me. Particularly in the last couple of games when we've lost our goal scorers to injury, not an awful lot of pragmatism to sure up the defence when we're lacking in attack.

You could say that about Everton under every single manager we’ve had since probably Moyes.

Digne hobbles off. He is the one player who should have been protected. Should have started with Keane and had Holgate at LB. Might not have conceded 2 headers might not be looking at not having a recognised LB against Norwich. He obviously didn't care too much about the result so we needed to protect the most important players.

We played exactly the same today as we have in most of our games so far this season. No control, all about 'intensity' but just completely erratic.

No we haven't mate - we battered Brighton, were better than Leeds and hammered Saints 2nd half.

The only games we were poor in was the first half against Burnley and the two cup games with you guessed it the usual crap in the squad playing games.

And tbh I would take "playing crap"! And winning 2-0/3-1 everyday of the week. If you want entertainment go get Brown Shoes back.

As far as I'm concerned, even though we're painfully weak in squad depth... that game was 100% lost due to team selection - which therefor the blame has to be on the manager.

We lost that game because we decided to rest BOTH of our CM and instead opt for Davies & Gomes - who are both very pedestrian.

Additionally, pairing Holgate & Godfrey together at the back which we've all seen time and time again don't perform together.

Had he played Doucs in the CM and only rested Allan or vice versa, instead of playing dumb and dumber together... different result.
