All boils down to wether you think Benitez is good enough to be our manager.

His recent exploits suggest not .

He's done nothing of note other than fail for many years.
Relegating Newcastle , then walking out on them when he couldnt get his own way , then dumping one of China's better clubs to the bottom of the league ( in a real Dog & Duck league ).

He must have thought all his Xmas's come at once getting this job .

Regardless of his affiliation to that "lot" and totally disrespecting this club ( that will never be forgotten ) I do not think he is good enough to manage this club.

If my views irk you thats fine , its a difference of opinion in the Benitez thread but the posts in here have mainly been about Benitez and wether he is good enough to manager Everton FC.

Interesting take on the Newcastle thing - the vast majority of Newcastle fans would disagree with your view on that and label it as lazy. Have to admit I hadn't really paid an awful lot of attention to it, but they regard him as the best manager they've had since Bobby Robson.

This thread is an interesting read. It bothers them a lot that people don't appreciate the job he did there.

A quick Google tells me this is total rubbish as well.

The team he managed in China had only been promoted 2 years before he got there and were bottom half in both of the seasons before he arrived. The league format changed in the season he got there and was split into two 8 team groups rather than a 16 team league. Granted, he didn't improve them at all, but they were 100% not one of China's better clubs.

Not particularly bothered that you don't like him, but try not to make stuff up eh?

Fact show he left Dalian bottom of that league . The line Dalian is one of their better clubs is from a piece i read at that time.
