Personally, I can't blame yesterday on Benitez. He's working with what he has, and the fact is there are so many passengers on this team. Not a single spine among them. At 2-1, we should've been able to see that game out. To concede to make it 2-2 we still could've seen out for the draw, but to concede a further 3 in the next 10 minutes, it's disgusting. None of these players care about the badge or the club. Nobody anywhere seems to want to take responsibility for this crap, from the board to the players.

Yes, Benitez probably shouldn't have taken off Gordon, but he's working with what he has and the fact is he's inherited a team mostly made up of utter dross. Bar Richarlison, Pickford and Gray, would any of them get in any other team?

Personally I want Benitez to be given time, because I do think he will drop some of the big 'names' who aren't performing and not earning their wages. He's happier working with bargains like Demarai. If we can shift some of the passengers, maybe we can have a complete reset in mentality.

I mean, he’s had enough time to analyse the West Ham game, and work on what we needed to do to improve.

West Ham got behind our defence regularly and with ease and then Watford did exactly the same. That’s very concerning.

But this is manager 6 (Martinez, Koeman, Allardyce, Silva, Ancelotti and Benitez) where these players just don’t care enough.

Watford went behind twice and their heads stayed up, they wanted it more.
What are we meant to do, if 6 managers can’t change these players and make them hungry and want everything?

Davies, Digne we’re the most culpable again, but until players actually show any fight, we’ll never go anywhere. If Benitez can actually get them trying, we’ll be okay.

Gutless, every single one of them.

I dont need to show you anything. My conscience is clear when/if this manager gets the boot I gave him a chance like I will the next one even if its **shudders** Eddie Howe.

Cant say the same for you and your cool gang of supa bloos.

No us "supa bloos" just know a complete dud and a joke of an appointment when we we it. You constant defence of him is ridiculous. 8 games or 8 years , he was an awful appointment in the summer and will carry on being until Moshiri puts down the scotch and comes to his senses and gets shut of this dinosaur

Who comes in then mate?

How we paying him off when we cant afford to sign a RB?

As usual no answers just a lot of soiling the mattress.

You think Moshiri is skint? You know full well it was ffp or league equivalent that stopped us.
Your other point is ridiculous, Silva needed sacking and we didn't have anyone lined up, are you saying it was wrong to sack him. If a manager isn't up to the job he needs to go , end of.
I can tell you one thing , any new manager won't have the divided fan base like this guy does so he would already be on more solid ground instantly

Thomas Frank is who we need to get

Brentford fella?

Cant see us being able to pay £15+ million to pay Benitez off, pay Brentford compo to the tune of millions then give Frank the budget to work with to bring in his own players when we are on the edge of breaking FFP.

And there in lies the problem - we cant afford to sack him for one, we cant afford to back another manager for two so its the same squad of crap players who'll only get Thomas Frank the sack like they've done everyone else!

Its a never ending cycle.

Of course we can afford to sack him? We’re not skint.

We've never had issues sacking managers before. Don't see why that would have changed.

I want a manager who will be a long term option, who will build a young side with pace and who is hungry to get to the very top.

The sooner we put an end to this failed experiment the better.

They will if we lose 2/3 games on the bounce. That's what our fans are like. There'd be some loon posting on here that the new manager needs to go after a few bad results.
