I know that Rondon has done a job for Benitez in the past but he now has to hold his hands up and admit that he's no longer up to the task of leading the line for a premier league club. Richarlison through the middle until DCL is back.

Was Rafael in charge last year for our similarly embarrassing losses to Fulham and Sheff United?

Was he in charge the year before that for our embarrassing 5-2 loss to Liverpool?

No.... That was 2 different managers. It's just that we had the same undercurrent of cowards in our squad.

The character of the players is pathetic. So inconsistent in their application.

We got beat because we allowed Watford to outwork us, make the second balls, make the runs......

Can't keep firing managers whilst we have a core of pathetic players who could get a prime Alex Ferguson sacked.

Hold on a bit mate, the manager in all of the above defeats got slaughtered, so why shouldn't Benitez.

When we lost to Liverpool, they were European champions, going for a league title having won every game to that point. That's not Watford, who have just sacked a manager and are coming off a 5-0 defeat.

We lost narrowly to Fulham/Sheffield United. I mean it was unacceptable, but we didnt collapse as we did the last 20 minutes.

That was what was infuriating for that game. We were ok for 70 minutes, and then imploded for 10 at the critical point. The manager has to be challenged on that, when the subs are made and it goes wrong.

Not the same players though are they. At this point last season Carlo had Doucoure, Mina and DCL available. He also had Sigurdsson.

What do you honestly think Sigurdsson is offering now?

Mina had also been injured at this point, Digne and Richarlison had missed games, as had Godfrey, Holgate, Pickford, Coleman, James etc. I.e worse injuries.

I think the thing with Mina is that hes improved a lot, and he also makes the other guys better. Keane looks a lot happier next to him, and Godfrey does too.

We have got to try and get him on the pitch ost weeks, and not sell him!

What you claimed questions my character, so yes you do need to evidence it. But you can't. It's a disgrace to make claims like that with no evidence. This isn't about your conscience being clear about the manager, mine is also clear. This is a separate issue about you making baseless and accusatory comments that questions my character.

We can say that as fans, but to players like Yerry and Richy, representing their countries is a massive massive deal

And the reason why it was brilliant was because we played 4 CB's, 2 CDM's (including a shackled Doucoure) and camped in our own half relying on set pieces to score a goal and hold on to 1-0 for dear life.

Benitez tries to play more open football like fans wanted and like Koeman & Silva before him these crap defenders can not do the basics.

But hey why let fachts get in the way of an agenda Christopher.

So the way forward is to remain camped in our own half and thinking no opposition manager will think we will kick it to Gray to launch a counter attack.

The tactical variation is had DCL been fit to kick it long every time and hope for a break.

You cannot blame a team who are demonstrating what they have been coached to do.

If the players don’t suit your system of choice then don’t force it! Play the system to suit you have or it is all on you.

I have been against his signing, I've not denied that.

What you accused me of:

You and others slated him from day one, slated him after that pre season defeat, were calling him a fat pig, changing avators to stuffed pigs etc.

I have asked you to show me where I have ever called him a fat pig or even insulted his appearance in any way. I call him benitez every time and not the easy FSW that others do. Show me where I changed my avatar to a stuffed pig. I have never done so.

Yes, I have slated him, but I never said to sack him after a pre season loss. I never wanted him hired, but I haven't said to just sack him, I said he had to earn his chance by achieving certain things (which when we lost 5:2 at home to Watford, he is unlikely to do).

But.accusing me of those sorts of insults, questions my character and I take offence at that because its totally untrue.

So again, an apology for that baseless accusation would be welcome, because it is a claim that you cannot back up.

There's always been negotiation between players and clubs over international appearances.
