He was out of work when we sacked Marco. As I said can't believe we didn't go for him. If we did then fair enough.

Maybe we did, but theres no point now, he isnt moving from a CL to sort out Carlos rubbish, names like this are delusional.

What some are choosing to ignore is the United job is coming soon, and the Newcastle job, meanwhile some are deluded enough to think we are attractive, the way things are going even Spurs might want a new manager before the end of the season

The more I think about it the more I'm sure it was pre-Carlo, but of course, once one of the greatest and most successful managers in European history made it known he was willing to sign, there was no other candidate needed.

What an absolute load if tosh.

You asked who we could / should get , there's a shed load that would take the job.
This is a Big Premier lge club no matter how you & your mates have lowered their standards.
You were the given answer's .

Agree delusional now but just highlighting how easily we miss out on good targets.

I'm level headed enough to know that RB is going nowhere after a dozen or so games and nor should he. I'm all about stability and one of these days a manager is going to give us more than 18-24 months. If it's RB then so be it as it will be because he's doing well.

Why did the bids fail?

Possibly because they were dependent on a number of factors which we assumed would happen - i.e receiving £30m for Moise Kean and probably selling another 'asset' (Kenny, Gomes, Davies)

So therefore, we essentially had no budget

I wasnt given answers at all, I was given the names of the Ajax manager and Villa Reals, pretty much showing I was correct.
Lets go in the transfer thread and list Salah, Lukaku and Kane as targets, it would be just as reslistic.

As for lowering statdanrds, when was the last time we had a high standard? Lower league managers, relegated managers, duds and fossils, that's us, and has been since the PL started
