I'd much rather get rid of the players than the manager at this stage of time. The players have failed nearly every audition apart from a few. A few more Gordons, Townsends, and Grays and I think we can have a team we are proud of again. Whether or not Mr. Benitez is at the helm of the club during that period is up to him. I understand what he wants to do with the club at least, I am unsure of if that old-school style will work in the modern premier league however. I guess Moyes is doing well enough with it! lol

That's fine. Each to their own.

I happen to think managerial comparisons are for the schoolyard ... far too many variables to compare fairly. Simply responding to the chap's pretty ropey argument.

Yeah I agree there are too many variables, one of the most important ones being total games managed, which is why it’s probably unfair to compare the win percentages of someone like Moyes who managed us for 11 years and Ancelotti who managed us for 18 months and most of his games being training sessions in empty stadiums.

A positive from the poor form if you are desperate for one, is that the manager will now know for sure who need’s catapulting

Haha ok mate.

Allan had the flu and was struggling with fatigue but you crack on trying to use Gbamin and Holgate as sticks to beat the manager with.
Did not know he had the flu (did you?) If he did, he did alright for the 83(!) minutes he was on!
At the end of the day, the manager makes the decisions, so surely the buck stops with him.

Is he though? Doing better? Don't forget to show your working out.

…apologies if posted but Ashley Williams doesn’t seem impressed;

He's right (mostly). Deniers will just dismiss it because who its coming from, but he's absolutely right that we are clueless in attacking and hoping that Gray, Townsend or Richy can do something special.

Ancelotti, as crap as the footy was and as many injuries he had to deal with and no fans etc, had us in the running for CL in April. We should have got Europe. It was a failure not to.

We look just as crap going forward now as we did last season, if not worse.
This season we haven’t had our top scorer
