Utterly ridiculous. Even more ridiculous that the mother has to try and justify herself by saying 'I'm not racist' as she complains about her kid being refused water at school because of the ridiculous teachings of some minority religion, probably coz these days she would be branded one for doing so.
Hate what this country has become. These little incidents are going to become more and moore frequent. And muggz I'll give you quotes from the qu'ran when I can be arsed tomorrow but for now, just look all over the world. Absolutely not the 'religion of peace'.

what you on about? what im saying is that people will blame the muslims for this but its not its the PC brigade that cause these problems as they are offended for other people in this case its clear the muslim children where treated above the other children but who's fault is that? its not the muslim children or their parents its the Teacher who I guarantee is a bleeding hearts type who creates problems where no problems would otherwise exist. Let the kid drink the water he isn't fasting don't let him suffer, same way I doubt the other kids would be arsed yet that would give the PC brigade type nothing to cry about

The lad should have been allowed to drink mate. No two ways about it. Oh and if there are muslims that are forcing their children to not drink water on days like we've been having recently then they should be done for child cruelty. It is the duty of the school to ensure childrens safety over some utterly absurd religious practice. This is what I mean when I say islam will always be an extreme religion by nature. It doesn't have to mean they all blow themselves up, the very principles and practices are extreme ergo it produces more extreme-ists.

spot on the kid misunderstood BUT it still doesn't alter the fact that the child was denied a drink of water in class because it wouldn't be "fair" on the other kids yet why is it fair that many muslim children do not take part in RE whilst Christian children have too? its one rule for one and one for the other and all it does it cause tensions I thought the PC brigade want equality well equality works BOTH ways guys
