people who have seen him play far more than vickery have taken issue.
But yes we should wait to see him with our own eyes.

He's based in Brazil and the majority of his work is based on Brazilian football. I don't have the impression he has the same overview of the rest of South America. After all it's a massive place and to know the football in detail of each country is a big ask. If you listen to him he's usually the first to highlight mistakes in judgment he's made. I'd wager he's got as much right as wrong over the years.

Vickery is just offering his opinion and there is no reason to listen to it or believe it. Vickery can only guess if a player is suitable for the Premier League because like you and me we have not seen these players before in the EPL so therefore its pure guess work. Quite a few class players have failed in this league yet quite a few relatively unheard of players have succeeded. All down to the mentality and determination of the player.

to be fair from the game i watched he looked ok over 5-10 yards which if he's got his positioning right it's all he needs.
