Who are you referring to? Valencia, Figueroa, and Palacios were already at the club when Martinez got to Wigan. Rodallega did alright. Boselli was a disaster. Di Santo's a nothing player. We know about Alcaraz.

I very much doubt that many of us here have seen the lad play (I know I haven't). No point in trying to guess how he may play or taking apart Martinez previous signings when we just don't know how it's going to pan out. Personally I don't think we will see how good he is / isn't until next season

that isnt good enough for a 10m signing. he should be able to play straight away, in the first team. we cannot afford to have 10m signings sitting it out for a year!!!

you should give players time to adapt and settle either way, regardless of the fee, it'd be madness to do otherwise.

nope. but he should be able to cover left back at least. and if stones or jags gets injured i want to see mori coming on rather than browning or galloway.

£9.5m indicates to me he is ready, else we should have signed jonny evans for £8mill

I'm pretty confident that you will see him on the substitutes bench straight away.

Its 10m, these days that's practically a free contract for most teams.
