Millions things should be lurking in these times on the head of Joseph Ramiro Funes Mori bags while preparing to give start to the new adventure that will be destined for England. It is that the stay of the Mendoza River is worthy of a film to be exhibited in the halls of the best cinemas in the world.

He made his debut back in November 2011 in Jujuy, in that win against Gimnasia y Esgrima in which Cavenaghi was dispatched with an unforgettable poker scorer. His arrival to the first team was in the moment where the potatoes burned more than ever (and as burning, man!), So perhaps that helped bring the personality to deal with difficult situations.

Their presence in the first team, from the beginning, that generated riverplatenses fans to look at him askance, just for the simple fact of carrying that damned name many times from all four sides of the Monumental. He had to pay the dues to be 'brother' and start running from behind to share blood with that boy named Rogelio Gabriel. And, moreover, his physical with his twin, likeness generated by the permanent reminder of 'Funes Mori bad'.

But his life changed 31 March 2014. Its head in the very Bombonera for Boca River will win away after 10 years, suddenly catapulted to glory. That jump fierce to beat Gigliotti and Forlin, and to make a fool of Orion, earned him the credit of swells, that from that day, kept forever in his heart.

Since that afternoon, Ramiro emerged as a leader of old, as a type able to leave Balanta sitting on the bench. To make matters worse, he continued making important goals and was instrumental in both butler crosses Boca, which had no problem to scrape, disturbing and fajar poor rival players.Gradually, Ramiro was becoming an irreplaceable in the starting of the doll.

Today, Mendoza is ready to say goodbye (or until then, rather) to the club where he was born, which is swollen, and whose jersey kissed after every goal I knew screaming. Since that epic testazo after a corner kick that was not until the last roar heard shooting, no less than in the final of the Libertadores Cup.

Ramiro River leaves become marshal, in a complete plant and a player selection. Because he did not want to conform only to be the hero in xeneizes millionaire land, but wanted to show that this goal was the starting point to become the best defender the biggest hit in recent years.

Since that time he touched the ball down and murmurs. Since insults for sharing name with the insulted player in the history of mankind.Since being ridiculed and reviled. From all these things, to go as it goes today, through the front door. Through the door one day, fans expect to see him back in.

The Beast is gone. La Garza. The boy was the corner. Melli. Or simply Ramiro. From laughingstock superhero. The metamorphosis at its best.

Doesn't translate well but it sounds like we are buying a player who ridiculed initially but has grown significantly. A low risk investment at £5M. Welcome to Everton FC!

....happy with this but suspect he might be the type who needs time to settle. It appears he was shaky to begin with at RP but turned his form around. There might be a mistake or two but in the longer term he could be a goodun.

I'd be very happy with this signing if he's just back-up for Stones or Jags, but if this is indeed a direct replacement for Stones then I'm very worried. Would rather have Napoli's Koulibaly.

itll be interesting having a South American centre back, hope he has stronger muscles than the last one
