Agree, he definitely looks like a player capable playing for a really good team. Good enough to be at least a backup in CL-contending squad in a PL team.I feel a bit sorry for him as I don't think anyone watches him without negative bias. Because he usually just looks a bit shaky, like he's going to mess something up.
But he rarely does, to be fair. Statistically had a great game yesterday, making 11 clearances.
For his fanboys a hope you enjoy him for the next 12 games, because that will be him as an Everton regular. The only chance Sunderland had today was from him pissing around with it on the left touchline, he then proceeded to give it away, which was pathetic but only superseded by his pitiful attempt to get back. I hope one of MOTD's camera angles shows him completely giving up on getting back, which I saw clear as day.
Won't be with us.I think he consistently giving the ball away in dangerous position a couple of times in a match. His passing is a bit meh and got to improve.

He'll be gone in the Summer. Top defenders don't gift chances to opposition in every game. He was hopeless at Middlesbrough too. Sunderland didn't even try to attack yesterday. Also I noticed you didn't mention his pathetic attempt to get back. It's was a hospital ball to Schneiderlin way under hit, it was also irresponsible play as the closest player to him was Williams, meaning if he did play it infield and not get the pass right we were on deep trouble. He's crap, just calling it how I see it.Well done you. You've spotted what's really important that the rest of us have missed and clearly we've been on a terrible run for ages with Funes Mori in the side, haven't kept any clean sheets, and he's been gifting the opposition goals for fun. In reality, that hasn't happened and you have some bizarre vendetta about a player who has been partly responsible for us becoming solid at the back and putting together a run of 1 defeat in 9. You are actually wrong as well because Schneiderlin was the one who gave the ball away that lead to Sunderland's best chance of the game where they hit the bar. But blame Mori for that if it makes you feel good.
Funes Mori was out of the side as Jagielka was favoured for most of our awful run of form and Mori did not play in games we would have expected to get something out of at Bournemouth, Burnley and Southampton. Mori was then recalled to the side and played in the Chelsea hammering (which we would have lost regardless), and was involved at the end of the poor run against Watford and Liverpool. No one is suggesting he is the complete defender, but he has been part of a defence since the derby that has kept 6 clean sheets in 9 in the league.
Why you feel the need to lay in to him after being part of a defensive record like that, and part of a team with this kind of form is odd. I suppose some of our fans are just never happy unless they can find something to moan about. Even when we are the most in form side in the league at the moment, and have the 4th best defensive record in the league in terms of goals conceded. Better than City, Arsenal and the RS. It also makes me laugh how people have written off Mori, despite Koeman repeatedly picking him week in week out, and with him being an international for one of the best sides in World Football who have players like Aguero and Messi in it.
Also he is playing as Jagielka has dropped off the edge of a cliff in the past 10-14 months. It's no surprise to me that Keane, VVD, Kone and others have been repeatedly linked.Well done you.
