I stated that he started off here very well and would have a CL slot team in his sights. His career stalls and I then say that, though I still like the player and that he has something, it could best brought out - and his ambitions realised - with a shift to a mid-table Spanish team (who would use him properly).

Where is the contradiction in all that? There is none.

I do admire you're ability to consistently misinterpret though.

Nice work, if Dave tries to wriggle out of it with some meaningless fluff phrases, which sound much better than they are, then that just means he knows you're right, but he needs to save face.
