Possibly the dopiest goalkeeper we've had. Fell out of a loft and tripped on the sign that said don't train on the grass while warming up. Both injuries kept him out for a while if I remember correctly.

….i’d have Gordon West in there but none are even close to Southall.

To omit Westy is way, way wrong comes close to the top & far better than Pickford as he commanded his box - - he would be up there with Big Nev - he was the most expensive keeper we signed of his time - ten years service & a number of trophies too in fact I would have him as no 2 behind Nev -
They used to joke Westy was the best one in black & white TV & Nev in colour TV - go to YouTube & see his performance away v Wolves in the FA CUP 4th round - a masterful performance -

So its Big Nev - West - Martyn - Pickford

Best in the world during his pomp.

The way he has been treated by the club is an absolute disgrace and a massive embarrassment.
Id get that picture of Sharp off the Main Stand and replace it with one of Big Nev. NEA.
