8/ 10.....would of been a 10 but i think we need to ship a lorra lorra players out still. I hope Silva can cope with one team happy and another team slagging us off. If he can make sure the 1st team are happy and the rest are silenced....he will be one HELL of a man manager. My wife just said....Be Happy Today !!!! And frankly i am overjoyed....but the pissy mist in me wowwiez.

Easy an 8 minimum. Only one I’m not at all convinced by is Gomes, but it’s a loan so not worth being too bothered about. Still think we’ve missed out getting a belter CM, but I’m guessing there’s hope that’ll be Gomes. Personally I think it’s a shame we weren’t in for Seri but given he’s ended up at Fulham there must be a reason why.

Gomes voted worst signing of the season by readers of Marca which may explain the Barca fans distain for him on Twitter. Only too happy to have him

9.5/10 for me. Every need was addressed and I feel great about Richarlison and Bernard performing well. I think the only improvements inside the realm of possibility would have been a healthier CB instead of Zouma and getting rid of a couple more. Thrilled and this gives us a nice foundation for challenging top 6

There's risk with some of these guys - Mina is talented, but a bit unproven, Gomes is super talented, but hurt and maybe not the EXACT fit as a no.8, Zouma is a nice insure policy, but I wouldn't call him a magician with the ball and his Stoke D got lit up last year. But this is going to take a couple windows.

THAT BEING SAID, it has the POTENTIAL to be REALLY good. Silva needs a bit of time, but the quality of Ricarlison and Bernard - who might just be the best player in our entire side now - is impressive. Digne I think will be a massive upgrade as Baines is just beyond terrible. Gomes on his day is truly a brilliant player. Mina is a complete freak and Zouma is a beast. Mix in Gana, Cenk, Siggy, Coleman, Pickford, all guys we know can already play, and this squad looks NIGHT AND DAY from last year's squad that finished 8th.
