how good was that?

  • close to perfect...a 10 out of 10

  • very good, better than most other clubs...an 8 or 9

  • decent, happy enough...6 or 7

  • average, some good, some disappointing...a 4 or 5

  • poor, unbalanced...we're deffo worse now...a 2 or 3

  • unspeakably bad...(shirley no one will vote here?)

Not happy at all with the window Slamming Shut at 5pm.

Out of them all, Digne looks the most solid signing to me. Zouma, hasn't looked the same player since his injury, Mina, looked decent in the world cup, only 5 starts for Barca, that's all I know about him (and probably everyone else) Gomes, seems injury prone (@MarcelsGoat) mentally strong? Bernard looks an exciting player, can he do it in the prem. Richarlson, has looked boss pre - season.
Yep. Mixed bag, IMO.

8 for me - would have liked a CF to come in who could have made us dream of a top 6 push.

Think we are good for 7th if we stay injury free but haven't got Lukaku's replacement sorted as of yet whereas Liverpool went from Suarez to Salah, Firmino and Mane.

Walcott Bernard Richarlison

Batshuyai / Bacca

Would have been my dream front 4 this season.

Good point I think we still need/ needed a new striker, somebody who could do what Rom did, or even what somebody like Cahill did score goals when we really need it. Niasse and Tosun are alright against the smaller teams, but go missing in big games. I wouldn't of minded somebody like King from Bournmouth, or Llorente from Spurs. I think we've wasted less money this season, but still haven't bought the right players, although I understand it takes time to build a squad, and they don't want the same problem as last year with too many players trying to gel in the same team.

Got family round from various parts of the uk, have tried to keep up but im not sure who weve signed.. Could someone just list whos been confirmed please blues

Last season I was down on the spending from the start....couldn't get excited...as I didn't trust the berk we had in charge. I thought all the signings were risks....more so than the normal "all transfers contain risks" viewpoint. I honestly think, apart from the negative end over the striker, that people were just getting carried away with us spending money and assumed it would turn out well. I said I didn't have a clue what sort of season we would have....somewhere between terrible to slightly above average.

This season we have similarly signed a bunch of players who are no sure things. Being improvements on the dross we had(still have in some cases) is not enough.i still couldn't tell you how we will do this season so people jumping immediately to talk of pushing top 6 are jumping the gun just because we have had a crazy day today. Digne would be the only I would feel will defo do well and will be worth the fee. The others...dunno. Feel positive about all the rest apart from Gomes but couldn't say how any will turn out. Zouma I don't really know.

The only difference to me from last summer is that instead of having a manager with clear limitations.....we have a manager who carries an unknown quantity and the possibilities of something beyond what we might expect. That's the main reason I'm happy going into the season but the new guys theyve brought in....I can only say let's see.

I’ve gone 6/7 as need to see these lads play and whether they can fit in the planned system.

Would have liked more of the dead wood out, but hopefully still time for that.

But gotta say at the least that we filled the right positions, which is an improvement on last year, and the side looks much more balanced than last couple of years.
