When the decisions go through roughly 63 people anyway I dunno what the point of hyping an announcement like this even is, if that makes sense.

Clearly since they hire/fire at will - who's arsed ffs lol

RBL Twitter (surprisingly it's a thing) have been going mental all Summer about selling the kids and now this DoF delay they've ripped Mintzlaff to shreds haha.

Ah to be Salzburg, much smoother football club.
 

Yussi out till September with injury. Tedesco has said he will look at the returning Sorloth, a player he says he likes, to fill the gap. Interestingly though this morning Sorloth got his shirt number taken off him for Andre Silva.

It’s about having a business plan.
They have one. Scout young exciting and sell them for a profit.
We looked to hit on it signing dcl and stones… then went backwards.
The key is being prepared to put unfinished players in the first team.

We also signed Branthwaite but realistically we've gone massively backwards in general with the academy - we give no youths a chance and, tbh, it seems some of them aren't really up for it when given one anyway.

I know we recently have had Gordon, but also he's a unicorn in the way that we saw how bad he was 2 years ago and he's actually pulled through to be a decent player with a lot of faults, which is normal for a young lad (even though his current form should've been him 2 years ago but you know...).

For every one of his recovery stories we have a thousand other Garbutts and the likes :(
 
RBL Transfer News

All quiet in general, still waiting for Laimer to likely leave before anyone else comes into the first XI. However, 2 signings for the academy with top talents Chilohem Onuoha (CAM) and Oliver Schmidhauser (ST)

 
The boys played their first pre-season game of the Summer at the weekend vs Southampton and ran out 3-1 winners. Couldn't find the full match to watch back but Saints posted highlights and some cracking goals already. One of the most stable Summer's the club have had, so far, and only the Laimer issue needs sorting. All quiet on the transfer front as the squad is still too big.
