He wasn’t misused he was just asked to do more than he can do. I said this when Everton were linked with him. Nothing wrong in there.

Lads: Tyler Adams is a very limited but loveable footballer. He presses well, tackles well, but is pretty damn useless with the football. Spent the last 2 seasons in Germany regressing and being left behind.

Definitely an upgrade for us, because we have no defensive midfielders, but I wouldn’t get too excited. Similar player to Allan but worse with the ball.

Well he wasn't. He was asked to be a central midfielder. He was one, just doesn't have enough tools to be a good enough central midfielder for Leipzig. Nothing rocket science about it.

RBL Matchday

Leipzig host Wolfsburg this afternoon in the hopes of picking up their first win of the season; I'd say even now the title chance has gone but they're at risk of struggling for CL already (although good job Leverkusen also suck). Both teams are on 2 points from 3 games and it should be a pretty combative affair as it usually is against a Niko Kovac side. Werner drops to the bench today for Silva; little surprising as he's looked one of the few bright sparks so far this season. Tedesco again not wishing to shake things up formation-wise which has pissed off a big chunk of the online RB community it seems. Time will tell if he knows what he's doing or he's practicing the art of insanity.
