- The hunt for a cover centre half seems to have ended with the possibly loan + option signing of Abdou Diallo from PSG who has Buli experience with Mainz and Dortmund. Can play CB, LCB and LB so decent cover. Not sure whether to trust Fab saying it's done these days though.
- Another rumour coming out of Croatia is of Josip Sutalo (CB) from Zagreb signing for next Summer and staying there for a final year. He's an excellent prospect and someone I'd have liked Everton to go for this Summer.
- Konrad Laimer now stays but unlikely to sign a new deal so will go for a small fee in January or for free next Summer.
- Josko Gvardiol, heavily linked to Chelsea yesterday, now seemingly closer to signing a new contract without a release clause in it. The club want 100m+ for him to go.
- Emil Forsberg rumoured to be unhappy with his minutes and rumoured to want a move but has publically said he's staying now.
- Alexander Sorloth moves back to Real Sociedad on loan with no option after no buyer.
- Ilaix Moriba is looking likely to go back on loan to Valencia tomorrow.
- Finaly "surplus" youngsters in Josha Wosz and Bonnah both sold this week. Clear-out complete.

Away to EL winners Frankfurt this evening. They've been rubbish, Leipzig have picked up a bit of pace, should be a good even game. No shocks in the starting XI for Tedesco except yet again an obsession with playing Kevin Kampl who I fear will have to retire before I have to stop seeing him starting games. Going for an away victory but will be tight.
