RB Leipzig

RBL Matchday

Boys are back in town, boys are back in town, or not since they're away to Koln but still. Looking to go unbeaten for the 18th game in a row which would be equal to Rangnick's club record in the Bundesliga since 2018/19 season. Koln's season has been a bit crap but are unbeaten in 3 now and are always extremely physical and annoying to play against. Only a couple of changes from midweek and looks like maybe Henrichs is playing in midfield today? Bit of a strange one but he's not Kampl so rejoice.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm.

Clubs like red bull, Brighton and Brentford always have my admiration for their business strategies, but couldn’t it be argued we were the first ever money ball team in football? We were implementing early developments of these strategies in the early 2000s under Moyes, until obviously Moshiri came in and made us the polar opposite.

Err dunno, were we? I mean we were smart most of the time because we were skint.

RBL Matchday

Back to league action, back to an absolute nightmare fixture at home to Union Berlin who can go second with a win (Leipzig win takes them third). Quite the bogey team having lost the last 4 against them in the league and it is without Gulacsi, Nkunku, Olmo and now Orban too. Klostermann comes in to the defence in Wili's absence and it's more of the same up top. It looks to be the same 3-5-2 they used at Koln which was pretty damn boring to watch but shows the respect for Union.

Game is LIVE from 17.30pm

Leipzig will also be wearing a special kit today with the proceeds going towards the recent earthquake. It's something like €30 of the €90 price being accumulated and then the club doubles it or something so not completely altruistic...
