RB Leipzig

My boys got rekt today, which I expected personally - horrible record against Bayer and also no source of goals as it's well known.

Shame cuz every result matters currently. I'll watch the report/highlights when I can find em later... couldn't watch cuz of stupid real life things ffs

Yeh wasn't a good result, could have done with goal difference being better from it. My game was dreaful, as expected too, need to sort their sh** to get into CL next season.

RBL Matchday

Gulp, it's the cup quarters at home to in-form Dortmund and I just can't see any sort of positive result here. The injury blow to Nkunku and Schlager within the week and then the CL exit really started to set the rot in and there's a real dark cloud over the club at the moment. Fear for them here. Rose has done what he has all season when under the cosh and reverted (I think) to a back 3 which just flat out does not work anymore at this club. Least there's no Kevin Kampl starting.

Game is LIVE from 19.45pm

RBL Transfer News

Lil round up but heavily linked past couple of days with Arsenal's Falorin Balogun to replace (sort of but not) Nkunku in the Summer. Said to be worth around 40m which is just insane since he almost signed on a free in the Summer. Arsenal unsure if they want to keep him which is also insane when their sub striker is Nketiah. Leipzig said to want Jonathan David more but put off by the 65m fee they apparently want. Benjamin Sesko is already arriving in the Summer with Seiwald but a squad shake up is inevitable with Nkunku going, Laimer going, Gvardiol maybe going, Olmo maybe going, Silva maybe going. Just not sure how fast this kid is and the RBL squad is SLOW.

RBL Matchday

Very winnable home tie this afternoon against Augbsurg but... Kampl starts again. Visitors haven't won in 4 but still have some dangerous players to watch like Engels and Beljo. Depending on other results could end the matchday in 3rd with a win. Little bit of a sickness bug going round the camp today so Laimer on the bench but Nkunku is finally back in a squad - don't mess it up again please Rose. Looks like another 3-4-3 ish formation today. Never confident with Leipzig's very own jinx playing but we'll see.

Game is LIVE from 14.30pm
