First start for Ampadu this season (I think?) and the game is LIVE @ 8pm on BT Sport Sport Extra 4 (Ch: 453)


 
Youngster Tom Krauss (CDM/Sweeper) makes the bench tonight. I’m not 100% certain but I believe if he gets on the pitch he may be RBL’s first academy graduate in any competition? Need to check that.

Anyway it’s 4-4-2/4-2-2-2 so I got the team right for once. Point needed.

RBL completely dominant in the early stages. Two half chances hit over so far. Not sure Benfica have turned up yet. Buzzing to watch Adel Taarabt though.
 
Ampadu has had a poor game so far. Looks both nervous and over-confident at the same time. Not quite what you want in your centre half.
 
Nkunku tries to buy a cheap penalty whilst Sabitzer smashes ones that forces a top save. Maybe going to VAR. Looks a push on the replay but gone for a corner.
 

Pizzi hits the crossbar; been their best player by a mile, in fact the only player of theirs to turn up. RBL completely dominant but keep making silly defensive errors. Ampadu is scary in a 2.
 
Ampadu a massive weak link so subbed off at 55 mins for Mukiele. That’s 2 of the back 4 on the pitch that are actually still injured.
