RB Leipzig

3-1 RBL FT

Very good performance after going behind early. Finished the month as the Herbstmeister (Autumn Champion). Next game will be 18th January and hopefully the lads get a good rest and some of the injured players might be closer to returning. Nice to see Adams and Wolf make appearances this side of the year.

If you saw the game how was Adams. It wasn't on in the US. @Nymzee

He played well mate and lasted the full 90 which was surprising. He showed (well the team as well) his versatility as he started out as one of the two 6's but then as they realised their possession was gonna be 75%+ he switched to right-back to allow Laimer back into midfield as he's better offensively. Towards the end Mukiele came on at RB so Tyler could go back into midfield. That's the thing I love most about this team is how many positions each player can play.

Tidy job, nothing spectacular, hustled and covered well. Nice to see him back on the pitch.

RBL Transfer News

- Again more chatter about a possible winter move for Haaland.
- Alexander Nubel (Schalke) definitely leaving Schalke in the Summer for free at the latest but Mintzlaff suggests club no longer interested.
- Benjamin Henrichs (Monaco) linked again as cover for multiple positions.
- Club possibly looking to offload Saracchi, Matheus Cunha, Mvogo, Ilsaker in January (loan or sales)
- Linked, via RB Brazil/Salzburg, transfers for youngsters such as Tanguy Kouassi (PSG), Walce & Antony (Sao Paulo), Fisnik Asllani (Union), Loic Bessile (Bordeaux)

Personally can't see anything happening unless an outgoing move brings in some cash. Squad is deep when the injured players return hopefully early 2020.

Tanguy Kouassi:

RBL Transfer News

- Marcelo Saracchi edging closer to a 1.5-year loan to Galatasary (although when can you ever really trust transfer rumours involving Turkey?). He's definitely unhappy with playtime but also hasn't impressed when given the chance. Can see them looking for a full-back to play both sides if he does go out.
- RBL seem confident they have Tanguy Kouassi wrapped up for Summer 2020 on a free transfer.
- Matheus Cunha linked with a loan inc. option to St Etienne. Wouldn't be that arsed about this as he seems moody and isn't massively impressive.
- Benjamin Henrich's agent trying to force interest from Bayern Munich.

Video assessing prime transfer target Erling Haaland:

RBL Transfer News

- Erling Haaland in the end opted for Dortmund over RBL. Apparently the deal is 20m euros but read a few reports now where it's actually more likee 50m euro due to massive signing on bonuses to family members and Mino Raiola. Would have liked him here but that's just too much money for them to spend.
- Seems Saraachi to Galatasary on 1.5-year loan is all but done - no option to purchase built into the loan.
- Matheus Cunha now linked to both Sevilla and Brighton but Olympic participation could scupper his move.
- Benjamin Henrichs deal still up in the air now that Monaco have a new manager.
- Timo Werner and Upamecano both expected to leave in the summer and CEO Mintzlaff has said he doesn't expect more than 1 new signing next month and even then that might just be early deals agreed for summer moves (Henrichs/Kouassi). Admitted that even Naglesmann could go in the summer if a once in a lifetime offer comes up. Hopes players like Lookman will be integrated more after the winter break. Also is unhappy with the performance of the U19 team (currently 8th) and hopes to change that next year.

RBL Transfer News

- Unconfirmed reports that the deal to loan out Saracchi to Galatasary is complete till June 2021.
- Unconfirmed reports deal to loan out Luan Candido to RB Brazil is complete till December 2020.
- Matheus Cunha's future remains unresolved.
- Spurs looking at Nordi Mukiele.
- Still awaiting an agreement on the fee for Benjamin Henrichs as Monaco want 25m and RBL only wants to pay 20m max.
