Nokia Lumia 900.......

I think that's out around June time or so as well. I've got a HTC Mozart on WP7 but it's broken so I can either claim on my phone insurance, or just get a new one as my contract is up for renewal. I'm tempted to do that and just wait for the Galaxy S3 then upgrade.

..not a web page, I can do that myself.

Can someone recommend me a new phone. I love my iPhone 4S. However the battery has driven me to despair, can anyone suggest a decent replacement.

Must have

1. Ace camera
2. Good battery life

I don't care about the rest

I found the same with a 3GS and my current 4 until someone told me about how much juice location services uses. if you double press yout home button you can see all the apps that are running in the background, hold your finger on them until they wiggle and then close them with the x button. yoiu should also check in settings to see which apps are looking for your location all the time, lots of games do it, then change the settings. My battery can go a whole weekend as long as not playing games. like most portable devices the more you do with it the quicker the battery runs down.

Samsung Galaxy S2's are going very cheap at the minute ( due to S3 due anytime now ) I picked one up a few weeks ago for £21 quid a week with loads of minutes/txts/data.

Was quickly rooted and custom ROM'd and is a hell of a phone for the price I'm paying , Its like having an iphone 4s that slips £25 into my pocket every month ;)

The HTC One X is out this week, I think I'll be ordering that. I'd love to wait for the Galaxy S3 but it could be June/July by the time it's available. The HTC looks good any way, It's got 32GB of internal storage which should easily suffice. The battery can't be removed though which is a bit annoying, I suppose I'll have to look after it well then!

My GF loves Windows mobile, and it looks pretty slick I must admit.

I used to use win mo for years, I think Nokia is just what the platform needs. They'll no doubt have some premium hardware and good support for the OS

lumia 710
Like it very much. Cheap compared to other options I had.
Took a while to get used to, though

I had a Windows phone before it broke. The OS was pretty slick indeed, everything is right in front of you and the live tiles are really handy. I found it almost a bit too simple though, and good games and apps were pretty scarce. I think I'll go for Android this time.

Windows 6.5 LOL

Windows 7 on the next flagship Nokia will be mine, tired of the iPhone, as brilliant as it is.

Sometimes simple is good when it comes to phones mind

A good sat nav app is the deal clincher for me when it comes to phones these days, and OS update support. It used to be a nightmare being stuck with the same OS build the phone was bought with

I don't find I play many games on the phone, if any, and I'm sure the game support will grow on win mo 7/8 quite quickly

That would be the Lumia 900 then......It looks like I am gonna have to settle for an 800 myself, rather than pay out the ying yang to get one imported, then not even be able to use the 4G LTE modems..... :(

I have never like satnav apps on phones. They are never any good compared to a good standalone unit. And I have no problem spunking the cash for the two.

Loving you both bailing on apple there. Nice try at an honourable exit but I told they were crap beards ago and you didn't listen.

Swallow that pride and buy an android. You know you want to.

Not having that. Even google maps navigation on an android now is brilliant. It's not worth buying a separate sat nav at all.
