All threads reference the great drink itself are closed. Lets continue to admire the fine art of red wine.

Love a merlot and will drink the rest.

South African wine is a favourite of mine.
Awful stuff, I've had people who know my loathing force glasses of supposed flash stuff on me in this manner...

Only found one I could drink and I picked it up by mistake, strangley enough that was a budget priced McGuigan Merlot.

In general I wouldn't clean my paint brushes in red wine

I've tried that mcguinans stuff. Got it out of Asda before. Decent for a cheap bottle.

You do need to embrace the red more mate. Or go onto rose if you can't be man (Tory) enough.

The day Howard kendal died we smuggled 5 bottles of red wine into goodison to drink during the united match as a tribute to the great man. After 3 bottles in we became a bit blatant and we started toasting him as the game went on, twas the only good thing about that day. Thankfully the stewards turned a blind eye or maybe Howard was looking down on us with a glint in his eye saying "have one for me boys..."

chilli and chianti in spag bol

trust me

once you've got the sauce reduced a bit add a big pinch of chilli powder and a third of a bottle of chianti and take it down again

"Why do women always leave me for total smegheads? Why do they dump me for men who wear turtle neck sweaters and smoke a pipe? I mean natural yoghurt eaters. "Reliable", "sensible", "dependable", and lots of others words that end in "-ible". They're obsessed with house prices and spends half his life at antique fairs looking for bargains and drinking wine. It's never beer is it, it's always wine. 'What do you want on your cornflakes darling', 'oh I'll 'ave some wine please'. SMEG!"

Loved red wine for many years but went right off it after last xmas/new year. Drank my first bottle for 7 months on Tuesday and regretted it until Thursday morning. I'll stick to beer for now.

It's the very best of us. A liquid from Jah himself.

Malbec or Rioja here. Also like it a bit chilled, don't you dare f'ing @ me.

Cheese is my preferred accompaniment. It's taste sex.
