Love a merlot and will drink the rest.

South African wine is a favourite of mine.

The sheer range of good quality reds from South Africa is bonkers. I have not yet found a bad pinotage.

Beaujolais is nice, a wine for beginners if there's such a thing, although still my favourite.

Light and mellow, you can almost taste the relaxation.

Pinotage is nice. Sometimes it's not.

Like all wine, it's hit or miss. There are no certainties.

I like to choose the local wine when I am travelling.

Been travelling in Bavaria and the local red wine is superb. Not quite as strong as that from more well-known wine producing regions such as France / Italy, but only 3 euros a bottle in the supermarket and tastes just as good.
