They would have charged the Everton player with assault and carried him off the field in handcuffs like the no more oil shirt guy.Roles reversed it would've been an instant pen. No questions asked, no need for VAR. We know how it goes.

The standard of refereeing in the PL is shambolic. This year has been abysmal and some of the calls are inexplicable. The big team bias is out if control. You'll get a good bit of that in the championship tbf.
What you won't get is good refereeing.
What F match were you watching?Sure.... always the ref's fault.
Seriously, what goal threat did we actually create today?
It is very bad. I can't really get behind the widespread corruption angle because I just don't believe something that massive can avoid spilling out. But the bias is clearly there and I don't even really know how you can fix it.The standard of refereeing in the PL is shambolic. This year has been abysmal and some of the calls are inexplicable. It's a ridiculous way to look at it from all sides.Gordon doesn't dive and get booked in the first half maybe the ref sees things different on the Matip push.
I think continuing to blame the officials is why we're 18th. We had two pens against Burnley and cocked it up.
Its not corruption. Its big team bias and the media love in with those 2 sides is a big reason why it happensIt is very bad. That's not right. Jostling only works shoulder to shoulder, not when you are literally in front of the other player. That's either a dive or a pen. There's really no middleground. This isn't really true though, it is possible on jostling like that to say it isn't enough to be a foul but it isn't simulation really either.
Didn't realise this place was a closed shop where everyone has to agree with each other. We know what you are
So we're clear I think that one was a clear penalty. That's not right. Jostling only works shoulder to shoulder, not when you are literally in front of the other player. That's either a dive or a pen. There's really no middleground.
Quite.Gordon doesn't dive and get booked in the first half maybe the ref sees things different on the Matip push.
