My mates lad never came out till his early thirties, no one had a clue about his sexuality.
His dad was shocked, he had no clue but none of cared he was/is a great lad.

I don't know if it's a difference of perspective on the question,but I find folk who say they've no regrets bizarre

I think I probably regret too much. Nothing really career or life related, I absolutely love my missus and the life we have together now. But I constantly think back to times where I could have treated people better, been kinder, embarrassing moments where I behaved stupidly, that kind of thing. There's so many and I have a habit of dwelling on them.

I also regret taking Jordan Peterson seriously at one point in my life.

Got hurt badly when I was younger and then went on a couple of years of nothing but “ revenge shags “ until I got her out of my system.

In all honesty probably messed a few of the girls up with my abhorrent behaviour towards them in the process.

I still think about it now and wish I could turn the clock back.

A friend of mine and her girlfriend (now fiancee) were like this for ages - we're in a backwards country here so two lesbians had to be "oh we're just great friends we'll share a room no problem" at the family gatherings for a while lol

They recently had to come out to the older folk separately, for obvious reasons, and it was an "oh. Well okay" and no one cared.

When she came out to her parents ages ago they were like "yeah we know, wtf?" lol

It depends.
I'm happy with my life .
Easy pt job.
2 grown up kids with partners ( seem happy )
2 wonderful grandsons.
Mortgage just about finished, which isn't a kings ransom, every month.
As George Michael sang.. looking back in time etc.
No mention of the wife, I know, without whom I wouldn't have had the kids.
