Relegation 2022/23

We can't rely on others at this moment because we have enough games and points to do this ourselves.

If we can get DCL back for the last couple of games, I know we turn draws or scraping wins into more comfortable results.

I think we have 4/5 wins in us

I'd quite like to just keep as many teams around us for as long as possible.

Leeds would still only be two points ahead of us. I wouldn’t be disappointed with either a draw or a Leeds win. Don’t want a Forest victory though. I think they might completely disintegrate in a minute given the 4 games they have

We had Darron Gibson and Magaye Gueye starting rather than Gerrard and Suarez mind. But yeah we were abysmal in that 2nd half.

Yeah they had some good players but so did we, and we finished 4 points ahead of them in the league that season. There was no reason to be that timid. After that shocking howler from Distin there was no attempt at all by the team to regain the lead.

They had Spearing and Brad Jones starting, we were a better team than them at that moment in time and they inexplicably did the treble over us that season. I was done with Moyes after that semi final.

Maybe even a Leeds win ? Forest are struggling and their next few games are tricky too especially as their away form is so poor

I think that’s why the draw is better though. Not too many points coming up for Forest you’d hope, so one point tonight doesn’t do all that much for them.

One point would be a poor result for Leeds too and I think it’s important they stay in the mix as insurance against a Bournemouth run.

Just getting this in nice and early, but at least one of Forest or Leeds have to go above us tonight. There’s no other outcome possible from that game, just in case anyone wants to have a meltdown about it.

Also would like @Kev The Rat to place his cards on the table now as to what result is best/worst for us, so he can’t shapeshift in all sorts of different directions based on how the game is going.
