Our approach in the 2012 semi against that lot was a disgrace IMO. Especially as we had just forfeited the Anfield derby to them too.
Really bizarre to say it was a disgrace to be honest. We were 1-0 up and conceded because of a horrific individual error, before losing to a very late goal. In a list of disgraceful Everton performances, it would struggle to make my top 1000. Very strange that people still haven't gotten over Moyes, considering everything that's gone on since. There's a lot of similarities between Dyche and Moyes, I hope he can do as well for us as Moyes did.

It was the worst Liverpool team in living memory, who I think finished below us in the league that season even, and we approached that game as meekly as if it was their peak Klopp side. Went a goal up and then made no subsequent effort to attack, just sat back and waited for the inevitable. That was the disgrace of it for me rather than the fact we lost or anything like that.

Some results will go against us today and tomorrow, we have to deal with it. Hopefully so go for us too though.

We are in a position where we have little margin for error. We really need something against United and that's a precarious position. Lose on Saturday and there is enormous pressure on the following run of games.

We had Darron Gibson and Magaye Gueye starting rather than Gerrard and Suarez mind. But yeah we were abysmal in that 2nd half.

Said it before but there's just too many teams involved for us to be worrying about these '6 pointers' where other teams play eachother. There's a couple of them in every round of fixtures, they're not all going to go our way. We just need to make sure we keep picking up points ourselves, the very nature of there being 9 teams involved in the scrap means that some of them are going to get something out of their games.
