I want to see 7 points from our games, but tbh every single one of them will be close as all of our games are with no striker. Would be satisfied with 5 points as its really hard to get wins with no sustained goal threat.

I think 5 points from those games keeps us out of the relegation zone, just. If we can get 7 points I think we're just 4-5 points from being ok - 5 points from 5 games then.
I realistically see:

Everton 5/6 points

Wolves 3/4 points

Forest 0/1 point

Leicester 3/4 points

Bournemouth 2/3 points

Dyche has got us 11 points from 9 games, that run has included, Arsenal twice, Mordor, Chelsea, and Spurs - so five fixtures of the 9 against teams whose expectation is the CL.
My realism bends the stick slightly toward pessimism for us.

I said last night on here that I'd be disappointed if, in the last 9 games, we didn't do as well as we had in Dyche's first 9 games. So 12 points.

But I actually think we could have done better than that so far, and we're getting stronger and stronger so possibly another 15 points can be added.

Looking at our remaining games, apart from City, we can take points in them all. Even Utd at the weekend I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a point. There’s only two really good teams in the league this year.

Mitrovic banished to the moon for the rest of the season, Silva given two match ban. FA wish to appeal both penalties, chance Silva won't be on the touchline against us?

Leicester: what a mess that is. A home game last night with the apparent problem of Rodgers gone and they failed again.

Just reading an article in the Athletic concerning their player cliques and the number of them looking to jump ship.

They are in a world of trouble.

If they dont beat B'mouth at home on Saturday you'd have to say they are one of the hot favourites to take the drop.

1 point from the last 21 points doesn't suggest they'll turn the corner any time soon.

This is where intelligence matters. A smart player - advised smartly - will stay at Brighton for another season if the current manager stays there. There is no rush if he is good enough. But if greed and stupidity take over, he'll be on Man City's bench for the most important developmental years of his career...
100% this mate. I would hope hes advised well and is still surrounded by good people as he was over here when he was starting out. Still loads of developing to do and that comes with playing every week. Will depend on if they keep their manager too as hel be in demand. Hed be made to go elsewhere atm too.
