Looking at our remaining games, apart from City, we can take points in them all. Even Utd at the weekend I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a point. There’s only two really good teams in the league this year.
Even city could be potential points. It's not impossible that arsenal could have won the league by then and if City have to come to goodison currently sitting in 2nd with nothing to play for apart from the champions league then we could see a half bothered city turn up. Even if that's not the case I would still fancy us to get something against them at home

I realistically see:

Everton 5/6 points

Wolves 3/4 points

Forest 0/1 point

Leicester 3/4 points

Bournemouth 2/3 points
One

A
Time.

This will go down to the last day
14(?) to 18 will shift around like a demented airline departures board as the fortunes various teams ebb and flow towards full time

Round and round she goes where she stops no one knows

5/6 points from the next 4 games will be decent going. I expect 8/9 points from the last 5 games.

So: 13 to 15 points more for us IMO.

That'd hand us 40-42 points. That prediction can take a knock of about 3 points and we'd still have enough.

That ^^^ btw is assuming there's no complete collapse of 3 teams at the bottom, which there's every possibility of.

Could be 35/36 points that saves us. In fact I've been saying 36 for a while so I'll stick to that.

If we look for an overall target of 39 points...

Villa (H) - 3 pts / RESULT 0 POINTS
Arsenal (A) - 0 / RESULT 0 POINTS
Forest (A) - 3 / RESULT 1 POINT
Brentford (H) - 1 / RESULT 3 POINTS
Chelsea (A) - 0 / RESULT 1 POINT
Spurs (H) - 1 / RESULT 1 POINT

UPDATE : 6 points out of my target of 8 points . Not too bad
Need 12 / 27 points available
I'm hoping for Away wins but maybe we turn Fulham or Bournemouth into a home win. I just wouldn't want to bank on the final game again!

Man U (A) - 0
Fulham (H) - 1
Palace (A) - 3
Newcastle (H) - 1
Leicester (A) - 3
Brighton (A) - 1
Man City (H) - 0
Wolves (A) - 3
Bournemouth (H) - 1

Next 4 games:

Everton
United a, Fulham h, Palace a, Newcastle h
This little run of games worries me tbh and I can see us having a bit of a wobble. We've been physically out-grinding a lot of teams but I don't think that will necessarily work against Fulham, Palace or Newcastle. Funnily enough United without Casemiro might be the team we match up best against right now. I don't think 4 points from 4 would be a bad run. It's looking more like 1 or over PPG gets it done.

On the more positive side the picture is clarifying and with Leicester's struggles there are now 4 teams worse than us, an insurance policy against one of Southampton, Forest or Bournemouth getting a run together and us having a wobble. There's also Wolves who like Leicester I have doubts about their mentality, but hopefully when things start to split in the next few weeks it'll be the current bottom 4 and us on the right side of it.

I think we're going to need Leicester, Forest or Wolves - or all three - to have a bad run in, so that the threshold is actually 35-ish points. I think sacking managers now is a mistake for all of them, unless they've got someone really good lined up.

Yeah I think anyone sacking a a manager now has missed the window where the upside outweighs the downside, and also where you’re going to get a quality or experienced manager willing to step in. If I was a Leicester fan I’d be terrified going into massive games with a couple of coaches in charge.
