Points won in the Premier League bottom half since Sean Dyche took over:

Everton: 12
Wolves: 11
Leeds: 11
Chelsea: 10
Bournemouth: 10
West Ham: 9
Southampton: 8
Leicester: 7
Palace: 6
Forest: 6
On paper an easier last 9 games too.

I think we'd have to see more suspensions and injuries to key players for us to get less than 10 points IMO.

This group of players aren't going to collapse in any game, and if we stay in games we'll get something out of them.

When you consider the games we’ve had it’s some return. Goes to show the low base we started from.

If it’s a league within a league down there I’m glad we’re on top of it at the moment - even with the fixtures we’ve had.

I think it might be getting to the stage were it break up a bit.

Against top teams like City and Arsenal a team like Chelsea to get anything need good organisation and the strategy a top manager brings. Against the lower lights in this league Chelsea can get away with telling their players to go and express themselves and score goals, and that's what will happen.
Agree 100%,

Absolutely. It's already happening.

Not a chance S'ton or Forest are getting out of this mess.

City and Villa will hammer those two this Saturday. And if Leciester dont beat B'mouth they'll be in there with them.

Hopefully we can add a point or 3 at OT.

I would suggest that with 3/4 of the season behind us that Soton (-24), Bournemouth (-30) and Forest (-28) could be the losers of this attritional war. The goal differences alone are telling. Everyone else in the bottom half are in the teens at worst.

I think we will need 11 more points from the remaining 9 match days to avoid relegation, as I believe 38 points will keep us up this year.

@ United
vs Fulham
@ CP
vs New Castle
@ Leicester
@ Brighton
vs City
@ Wolves
vs Bournemouth

If you count Fulham and Bournemouth as must wins at Goodison, can the boys get 5 points from the remaining 7 fixtures?

Away days at Palace, Leicester, and Wolves look the most likely to me.

I genuinely believe we will all be white knuckling it through those last two fixtures with safety only coming on the last day of the season. Thoughts?
I was also thinking we would need 11 more points from the final 9 for safety, 3 wins, 2 draws, which would put us on 38. I'm not going to try to predict where we'll get those wins and draws, but I feel like we have it in us in looking at our run of fixtures. Obviously, we'll scrap for every game, but for some we just may not get a result. I would be concerned that any less than 38 points in the end and we may be in trouble. I hope the Bournemouth game is not in play, but I don't know, it will likely be very tight.
