I'm still worried about our ineptitude in the final third. Can't keep relying on timely goals from defense (Keane strike and Seamus vs Leeds). It's not sustainable
Good news is teams around us are also struggling.
Matty please. I don't like to see you still at it. Not feeling better since Lampard has gone?lack of goals will send us down
Tough run in that. They’re going down imoTough times for Moysie and West Ham - 14 difficult games in two months.
Can Moyes survive? Can West Ham survive? And look at the last game!
2nd April West Ham United 1 Southampton 0
5th April West Ham United 1 Newcastle United 5
8th April Fulham v West Ham United
13th April KAA Gent v West Ham United
16th April West Ham United v Arsenal
20th April West Ham United v KAA Gent
23rd April AFC Bournemouth v West Ham United
26th April West Ham United v Liverpool
29th April Crystal Palace v West Ham United
3rd May Manchester City v West Ham United
7th May West Ham United v Manchester United
13th May Brentford v West Ham United
20th May West Ham United v Leeds United
28th May Leicester City v West Ham United
Ghent is nearer than Newcastle, but there will be more games - and travel - if West Ham go through.
We are actually doing something about now having a striker though. The difference between Lampard and Dyche is, Lampard said 'what am I supposed to do? We have no striker' and you could see the players felt that too. Dyche says 'So what? we have to work with what we've got'I'm still worried about our ineptitude in the final third. RS at home in the week before they go to Palace on the Saturday lunchtime.Could be wrong, but I think their game in hand is against City
Those two wins you believe + Newcastle at home and an away win.
I dont believe we'll register one away win all season. We have a lot of resolve now and we play some winnable games away.
All told, I reckon we get no fewer than the 12 points we've got already under Dyche.
I'd be very surprised if we dont finish with somewhere between 38 and 41 points.

Is Brighton after their semi final?.The lads are 1-6-7 this season away from Goodison, with out last away win coming on 1OCT22 against Southampton.
I could see us coming up empty on the following 4-match stretch:
vs New Castle (On incredible form winning four in a row)
@ Leicester (Scored more than any squad in the bottom half of the table)
@ Brighton (Statistically not impacted by Home/Away this season)
vs City (IMO the best/most talented squad in the league)
I believe the need is points [Wins] against Fulham, Palace, Wolves, & Bournemouth or we're likely facing relegation.
Is Brighton after their semi final?.
They are definitely going to lose it and get screwed over, so I think they will be deflated by the time they play us, IF it's after their semi.

Thoughts? There's 1150 days of thoughts at the time you posted!I think we will need 11 more points from the remaining 9 match days to avoid relegation, as I believe 38 points will keep us up this year.
@ United
vs Fulham
@ CP
vs New Castle
@ Leicester
@ Brighton
vs City
@ Wolves
vs Bournemouth
If you count Fulham and Bournemouth as must wins at Goodison, can the boys get 5 points from the remaining 7 fixtures?
Away days at Palace, Leicester, and Wolves look the most likely to me.
I genuinely believe we will all be white knuckling it through those last two fixtures with safety only coming on the last day of the season. Thoughts?
The thing is, this is Everton. We can come up with a sensational result against expectations. The lads are 1-6-7 this season away from Goodison, with out last away win coming on 1OCT22 against Southampton.

Something tells me the powers that be will want two Manc clubs in the final. Why? They are as good as Man Utd.
