Good timing Frank taking charge at Chelsea.

The players will want to get a win desperately against Wolves.

Lampard would want to do well at Chelsea so hopefully he does...very different squad than the one he had at everton...
I’m sure he wanted to do well last time he was sacked sat in 9th…..clearly an intelligent guy but I fear for him that is too dogmatic and arrogant to adapt his tactics

He will play it safe to maximise points. Its an opportunity for redemption for him and last chance saloon to be one day a premier league manager in the future. Fail again and not sure he will be given another chance in the future.

I'm looking for something more than squeaking out of this now.

Safe with a couple of games to spare is my realistic hope.

The time for a clear bottom three to emerge is upon us.

It's been freakish that so far it's been so tight down there. But that wont last. Clubs will beging to spiral badly out of control now.
Yep with other results generally being fairly in our favour and with slowly building momentum and some semblance of a positive never say attitude in the camp, I would hope we are, dare I say, not only looking to escape relegation but climbing the table as much as possible….it is also an important factor to attract the right calibre of player (no transfer ban permitting) in the summer

Leeds have a lot of goals in them. I was hoping Rodrigo was out for the season at one point, but the moment he returned I suspected they'd be ok. And they get goals from other sources too.

They'll be out of this with Palace soon.
One of them will certainly get points on Sunday;

Sunday 9 April Leeds United v Crystal Palace 14:00

After a year (or so) in charge from Lampard I couldn't see what he was trying to achieve unless playing at an incredible slow pace with no attacking intent was his aim. I believe we could have given Lampard five seasons and nothing would emerge from his tactical and managerial approach (other than successive relegations).

I don't see Lampard having any impact at Chelsea other than just telling them to go out and play. That said they have a wonderful squad and if he can release the shackles that Potter was putting on them (as he tried to change their attitude/approach) then I wouldn't be surprised if they win against Wolves. You can only underperform for so long.

Of course I could be wrong and he makes them even worse than they have been recently (give the talent available).

I did.

We have to factor in the mood round those camps. Leicester looks like a civil war has broken out and a lot of players are ready for the off and not arsed about rolling up their sleeves and fighting for that club. And in WHU's case the long season they've had in Europe must be impacting. They look a fatigued bunch to me.

I'm not sure BOTH will get out of it. I'd say Moyes will keep West Ham up just about (if they stick with him), but Leicester are looking very vulnerable.
And they play each other in the last Premier League game of the season!

Leicester City v West Ham United

I’m not convinced West Ham are going to pull the trigger on Moyes.

It’s very late in the day, it’s a gamble that has no guarantee of paying off - and they have so many fixtures coming up that it would only multiply the chaos.

They might still sack him, of course… but there aren’t any good solutions.

Marvellous player and seems a decent bloke - unfortunately I don't think he's cut out for Premiership management currently.

He can't need the money so why not do something more interesting like learn to manage down the league; with the right team he'd be given some time to learn on the job.
