I agree with this, next weekend is pivotal to our route to survival. If it goes the way we think it should gives us a 5 point cushion on Leicester which will be big at this stage. As you say, they’re the ones who have the quality to get out of it, however, having watched them today, they’re awful and I’m not sure they’ve got the stomach for the fight. They either don’t realise they’re in a relegation scrap, or the players aren’t bothered. And jesse marsch isn’t the answer either.

They have a final throw of the dice with a new manager, I suppose.

I think we need 3, or maybe 4 teams slipping, even if it means others go forward. I agree with Palace winning. If they get some form and beat our rivals, that works for me.
I can easily see all 4 of those teams losing next week.

Three points next Saturday for us will be huge in that scenario.

I've been saying for a while now that what Dyche gives us is unspectacular progress. We might have to see a step backward to go two steps forward. We wont see back to back wins, but we will see us picking up more draws and wins than losses. That should just be too much for the others in the relegation zone...and we may just see a win arriving left field to ease matters.

Think it would be better if Leeds win. Palace's goal difference can be overturned whereas Leeds' is a lot better. We also have to play Palace meaning we can impact their chance of staying up and again their goal difference.

I dont know. I think Palace have some very winnable games coming up. Leeds have a much tougher run in.

A draw would probably be the best result keeps both in it, if someone wins the game they're almost safe for me
I agree. But Palace will still be ahead by 4 points with winnable games if that draw happened. If Palace beat Leeds then we're 2 points down on Leeds and they face some tough games.

I mean Brighton is pretty obvious, similar form but weaker opposition and on level with Forest at home recently.

Are they? They've won v Palace and West Ham (4-0) in recent times and haven't actually played that many home games in last two months.

Will do well to get a point down there. It won't be a demolition job like under Lampard but they press incredibly well in midfield and Mitoma v Coleman is very worrying so will be a proper backs to the wall job.

Our biggest problem at the moment is Doucoure being out for two vital games. He's been a massive part of Dyche's gameplan. With the setup of previous weeks I'd be much more confident going into Fulham. Hopefully they can find a similar way of playing without him.
He’s a massive miss and especially obvious today. As well as his energy he has also been one of our only real goal threats.

I don’t think starting simms was the best move today and I thought dyche would have brought garner or Davies in to help the midfield.

I do think we will feel his absence less in a home game v Fulham though. Ideally DCL will be fit but if not then I wouldn’t be against starting the same side but keeping grey right and bringing Iwobi inside.

I’ve written off 3 of the next 6 - Newcastle, City, Brighton - and 2 of those are at home which isn’t great

Not sure where Newcastle have suddenly got this form
from but it’s bad news for us.

I’d say we are 80% down if we don’t beat Fulham
Goalscorer = Wilson
Box to box midfielder = Joelinton
Midfield goalscorer = Almiron
World class midfielder = Guimaraes
Top class defender = Trippier

They tick most boxes.
