We’re in a straight shoot out with Forest Leicester and Saints. We just need to get more points over 8 games than they do.

If we can increase the gap next week then it becomes 7 games and they’re playing catch up.
If we win next week we are likely ahead of Bournemouth and, depending on what happens tomorrow, Leeds as well. What's wrong with people?

We’ve actually come a long way in quite a short period of time, yes we are a hairs breadth out of the bottom four, but most of our rivals have now played the same number of games as us,coming this far I don’t now expect us to go down,Investigation allowing of course!!!,hoping for a minimum four points from these next two games.

I think we will go down. Thought it since December. We just don’t score enough goals. You can’t rely on a Coleman fluke, or a 30 yard wonder strike from your centre back every match. There just aren’t enough goals in the team to win us games.
I think that pretty much sums it up. The goals just aren’t there.

The happy clappers won’t have it though. Let’s see how they feel after the Newcastle game.

I predict a max of 5 points from the next 6 games. Brighton and City are total write offs. Newcastle at home as well if we are being truthful.

That leaves a must win at home against Fulham and critical away games at Leicester and Palace. I’ve been generous and given us a win and 2 draws there. Our away form is that bad we could easily lose to Leicester though.

That puts us on 31/32 with 2 games left.

Essentially we are hung drawn and quartered without a win against Fulham next week as I see that as the only serious chance to win a game.

We could do with Palace winning tomorrow, but I see Leeds getting three points and a bit away from us.

Next week we need to see not only an Everton win but also 'likely' defeats for B'mouth (away at Spurs), Leicester (away at City), West Ham (home against Arsenal), Forest (home to United).

We cant afford to lose touch with a group of clubs beginning to get 3+ points ahead. S'ton and Forest look dead, but Leicester can maybe rally.
I agree with this, next weekend is pivotal to our route to survival. If it goes the way we think it should gives us a 5 point cushion on Leicester which will be big at this stage. As you say, they’re the ones who have the quality to get out of it, however, having watched them today, they’re awful and I’m not sure they’ve got the stomach for the fight. They either don’t realise they’re in a relegation scrap, or the players aren’t bothered. And jesse marsch isn’t the answer either.

Beating Newcastle is suddenly looking a lot more daunting now given the form they are in. It may be that an away win is needed as well as 6 points v Fulham and Bournemouth at home. The way Leicester are imploding that could be the place to get it.

We might be alright but if we do it’s probably by good luck and good effort by dyche , the failure to get a striker is criminal and that’s why we don’t score .
