I’ve woken up today as deflated as I felt at 5pm yesterday. I can’t get over the complete collapse after that second goal. We’d been on top after changing to 4-5-1 and had started the 2nd half well. When they scored it was the first time they’d been in our half for ages. I was convinced we’d keep going and could still win the game. The collapse was inexcusable. Not one of them rallied or showed some fight and desire to get back in the game. It was embarrassing. Why do I care so much when it’s clear that the very well paid players who wear the short clearly don’t.

If forest and Leeds lose today and tomorrow then we are in no worse of a position than the start of yesterday, granted some a pulling away but it was always going to be between us, Leeds and forest to go down with Southampton, but we have the added bonus of Leicester being in there too, keep your heads guys.

Think Leeds will be fine

Having had time to reflect, yesterday was the biggest kick in the teeth for many a year.
Since Dyche came in, many of the long standing issues on the playing side I could look past as I saw a collective effort and desire to get out of this.

But who was I kidding. It went all back to square one and the same bunch of cowardly, thick, con men who wear the shirt presented themselves.

Where do I start?
Pickford. Excellent shot stopper but his kicking, personal mannerisms and erratic nature let him and us down massively. How many times will he kick it out and put his arm up to apologise??!

Myko and Godfrey. Utterly limited in everything they do. Can't defend and can't attack. Think putting in a crunching late tackle or something will mask their inabilities to actually play football.

Keane. Average and makes others around him average. May be a nice guy but he's spearheaded a pathetic, irregular bunch of centre halves at the club for two years now and is fundamental to why we struggle.

Gray and Iwobi. If ever a pair could sum up why the club is in such a mess it's these two.
Thick. Poorly disciplined on the pitch. Positionally awful. Can't do the basics well whatsoever. They wouldnt play anywhere near the amount they do for any other team.

Maupay. Guys just a poor footballer and an awful finisher. He could well put us down with his misses yesterday. Should have known when he missed the sitter v Liverpool how poor he is.

Squad in general. Just completely average and utter charlatans who aside from one or two, have taken the mick and will continue to do so till they get a move.

Anyone who honestly thinks any of them care about the situation we are in is beyond me. They will be on the phone to their agents this morning telling them to put the feelers out for the summer I guarantee.

Its as pathetic off the pitch as it is on it and the years of gross mismanagement are catching up on us rapidly.

Our BoD are hiding literally. An absent owner. A pathetic set of financial reports. A rotten culture.

I appreciate their will be some good people who work for the football club but id be embarrassed to say I do.

Leaving the ground yesterday felt like being at a funeral. Even if we stay up, so what.

The club is dying in front of our very eyes.

Got a horrible feeling that Forest win today. Man United are all over the place and have all of their key players out.

I really think Doucoure has cost us massively with his stupidity against Spurs.
I am not scapegoating him as the team should be able to perform without one player but it has just left a massive hole in the squad and it was so avoidable.
I really don't understand why we would play Maupay in a two up top when we have a young lad allbeit very raw who at least does know where the net is.We need to start every game now with Simms up top feeding off scraps and strengthen the midfield.

This has been the issue for several seasons, with a host of players playing under many managers. No resilience at all, we crumble after any set back

We've more chance of scoring with Simms on the pitch than Maupay.

It was absolutely pathetic by Dyche playing Maupay yesterday. It's the kind of smart arse team selection that a manager thinks they know best but makes them just look like a massive tit by the end of the game

Its quite sickening that our top tier survival seems dependant on the timings of a new manager 'bounce'. Its like the team only buy into a philosophy for 6,7 or 8 games before reverting to type and needing a change to restore motivation and confidence. Dyches philosophy of, minimum requirement is maximum effort, is only evident 50 percent of the time. Baffeling 😔

We have won 1 game out of the last 8, the worrying thing is the lack of fight and the managers tactics the last two games.
Honestly think we are down unless we can get DLC on the pitch offering even a focal piont.
As a football fan not an Everton fan I would say we are evens to go down the signs are not good,
Actually thinking about it why did we expect it tp be any other way , when we are a weaker team than last season and only just scraped over the line.

To be honest, I think 33 points might keep us up.

I reckon it is going to be a real low threshold this season such is the low standard of the botton five teams.
Cant see it been 33, i honestly thought not long ago that it was going to take one of the highest to stay up, the way half the bottom teams were winning nearly every week

I think this oversimplifies things. I think in comparison to our peers character will not be the reason we drop. Character was displayed in spades only a couple of weeks back v Spurs. I am convinced we have the least talented most unbalanced squad in the league. Saints for example have far more talent then we do but have a lack of experience
