Having had time to reflect, yesterday was the biggest kick in the teeth for many a year.
Since Dyche came in, many of the long standing issues on the playing side I could look past as I saw a collective effort and desire to get out of this.

But who was I kidding. It went all back to square one and the same bunch of cowardly, thick, con men who wear the shirt presented themselves.

Where do I start?
Pickford. Excellent shot stopper but his kicking, personal mannerisms and erratic nature let him and us down massively. How many times will he kick it out and put his arm up to apologise??!

Myko and Godfrey. Utterly limited in everything they do. Can't defend and can't attack. Think putting in a crunching late tackle or something will mask their inabilities to actually play football.

Keane. Average and makes others around him average. May be a nice guy but he's spearheaded a pathetic, irregular bunch of centre halves at the club for two years now and is fundamental to why we struggle.

Gray and Iwobi. If ever a pair could sum up why the club is in such a mess it's these two.
Thick. Poorly disciplined on the pitch. Positionally awful. Can't do the basics well whatsoever. They wouldnt play anywhere near the amount they do for any other team.

Maupay. Guys just a poor footballer and an awful finisher. He could well put us down with his misses yesterday. Should have known when he missed the sitter v Liverpool how poor he is.

Squad in general. Just completely average and utter charlatans who aside from one or two, have taken the mick and will continue to do so till they get a move.

Anyone who honestly thinks any of them care about the situation we are in is beyond me. They will be on the phone to their agents this morning telling them to put the feelers out for the summer I guarantee.

Its as pathetic off the pitch as it is on it and the years of gross mismanagement are catching up on us rapidly.

Our BoD are hiding literally. An absent owner. A pathetic set of financial reports. A rotten culture.

I appreciate their will be some good people who work for the football club but id be embarrassed to say I do.

Leaving the ground yesterday felt like being at a funeral. Even if we stay up, so what.

The club is dying in front of our very eyes.

The fullback situation has been one of the biggest cock ups among many in recruitment.

Coleman has been the main right back with zero understudy or back up since 2009 until we bought Patterson last season. The closest we came to having a functional right back was

Hibbert
Jacobson
Coleman
Sidebe
Patterson

Left back
Lescott
Baines
Digne
Nkounkou
Mykolenko
Vinegre

It's been exceptionally poor

I think we’ll get four more points, Leicester and Bournemouth, that should be ok forest have a tough run in
4 more points enough? We finish on 31 points and that will be enough?

I doubt it, Leicester will get more than 6 points to overtake us. Leicester run in is Wolves (H), Leeds (A), Everton (H), Fulham (A), Liverpool (H), Newcastle (A) and West Ham (A). There is at least 9 points for them there, we needed the 5 point gap to Leicester but as it is it is 2.

Do you back Utd to get a win at Forest today, a draw at Forest for Utd would see us in the relegation zone again.

Our fight is with Leicester and Leeds, both will get more points than us and send us down.

Its quite sickening that our top tier survival seems dependant on the timings of a new manager 'bounce'. Its like the team only buy into a philosophy for 6,7 or 8 games before reverting to type and needing a change to restore motivation and confidence. Dyches philosophy of, minimum requirement is maximum effort, is only evident 50 percent of the time. Baffeling 😔

I think Dyche is frustrated too because some players are working harder and others are just not concentrating in key moments. As others have said, we fought back to get to 1-1 and looked on top but the 2nd goal yesterday deflated the entire team and it came through two players ball watching and not tracking their runners.

It was imperative we won yesterday for this reason. There’s no chance we do better then Leicester points wise in the remaining games. Yesterday was the beginning of our funeral. When we win an odd game we sneak it. It’s all catching up with us now. What a horrendous result yesterday was. Truly pathetic from all involved.

We need to try something different.

Drop: Keane, Godfrey, Mykolenko, Maupey and Iwobi

Play:
Pickford
Coady, Mina, Tarks
Patterson McNeil
Onana Gueye
Gray
DCL Simms

McNeil and Patterson to play as wing backs and get forward as much as possiblue to supply DCL and Simms.
Onana and Gueye to shield our 3 best centerbacks.
Try Gray in a creative midfield role to hopefully open up a defence.

I think this is what Carlo would be doing.

Minimum EIGHT points required out of the 21 left available. In the past I would have considered that quite achievable but for this current squad of players - I was going to say 'team' but that suggests cohesion and a functional unit - that is an unlikely ask.

No way a bed wetter but I sincerely believe our time is up and GP will face the ignominy of hosting lower division footie in its final season. If so, the current crop of shysters on the board should never set foot within these hallowed walls ever again and that extends to BMD.

The problem we've got is it could click for a Leicester in a way it never was going to for Burnley or Watford. Maddison is the type of player that could keep them up single handedly if he finds form. We haven't got anyone like that in our ranks. If we go into the bottom 3 next Saturday, I find it hard to see us getting out.

I thought we had enough about us when Dyche came in to get us over the line, and hopefully we still can, but this squad of players are embarrassing.

The fans have been worn down and yesterday was the first time I’ve thought the fans seemed tired of trying to lift players who are either not good enough or not interested.

If we were hard done by yesterday and battered Fulham it wouldn’t fee so bleak. But the performance, wow. Our goose is well and truly cooked.
Yep, it was only that spell for 20 odd before HT that we even played well yesterday, thing is the last 2 games though we were pretty bad overall in both could have maybe ended a touch different if Simms scored last week at man utd to give us the lead and if Maupay wouldnt have tried to be so clever with his dink shot yesterday, we would never know how the games would have panned out

Looking at every metric , recent form, current performance , Dyche’s career ppg and applying them to our remaining fixtures it is hard to envisage us winning more than 6 points.
33 points could still be enough to survive , but it’s very slender margins.
And it’s clearly sub standard even if we do stave off relegation.

It’s hard to see a way out of this after that , it was a massive kick in the teeth and hugely depressing but if we can’t beat a out of form Fulham team with nothing to play for then we’ll get what we deserve .
