Don't raise concerns you'll be branded a Kopite and have people calling for you to be banned

Keep pretending we're great and keep supporting the manager

(Until we fall straight down the drain.....)
We dont is just the same reaction from people after each game then go quiet when we have a good result. Is the same people thinking that we will be ok people want to have a go and say that we wont. I dont think we will have a great season but i do feel we will be ok and will add more to the team in jan, had 3 tough games and i hope that we can bounce back sat

Leicester picking up now, 7 points from last 3 at home and 0 goals conceded so that's a big step forward for them. They'll certainly see Wolves away as very winnable game on Sunday so can see them being out of bottom 3 by end of weekend.

Villa are terrible but last season they sacked Dean Smith who'd just lost five on the bounce and Gerrard (somehow) won four of his first six games so they could easily get a new manager bounce.

Fulham are a really good team imo, they should have more points on the board than they actually do so that's going to be another very tough away game as most are in premier league now.

Worrying times but nothing a hard fought 1-0 on Saturday wouldn't put right in the short term.

At the end of the day, Lampard alongside Thelwell signed off on bringing in Dwight McNeil over getting a striker we badly, badly needed.

He willingly went into the season relying solely on an injury prone DCL to somehow stay fit and score not only a decent number of goals, but also an additional 10/15 to replace what we lost in Richarlison.

I've never seen such a meek and, to be honest, pathetic attempt to put pressure on the board to get him the striker he needed in the summer. The furthest Lampard was prepared to go was to say "everybody knows the positions we need strengthening in".

If he had a bit more about him he'd have told the truth and said we almost went down with Richarlison available, and if we don't adaquately replace him we'll be staring down the barrel this season.

Most other managers, knowing a relegation battle is almost a certainty unless they got a replacement in, would have been shouting it from the rooftops.

So back to my first paragraph; Lampard signed off on this and is all also very much to blame for the upcoming fight against relegation.

Biggest mistake was signing McNeil and Maupay for £15 million each instead of spending £30 million on a striker. Other than that I think we've spent fairly well. We're solid at the back, we don't get overrun in midfield like we did. However our creativity is sadly lacking. We desperately need a couple of scrambled wins, but we need to be careful not to try and force the issue by throwing numbers forward due to lack of quality up front, as most PL teams will hit you on the counter.

I don’t think it was a mistake signing Maupay personally, the mistake was not getting another striker on top of it.
