The one glimmer of hope is Forest and Southampton appear to be goners and one of our rivals have conceded 11 goals in their last 2 home games. Something seriously wrong at Leeds if they are shipping goals at that rate.
Yep but there again all of those teams will be looking at Everton thinking "they've got no striker, are in terrible form and will struggle to win more than another game or two even if they're lucky".

A few weeks back a load of people on here claimed that Bournemouth were defo going down.

I'd wait to see what happens before thinking Leeds are going down.
The funny thing about Bournemouth is that they could still be the club that has escaped the deep sea only to find themselves pulled under the current at the last minute by the monsters below. They play both Leeds and Leicester in the coming fortnight or so. Both will be desperate. Both dangerous. Lose those two and they have to play another desperate team on the last day.

A month ago, I thought Bournemouth would go down. Right now, it looks very likely that they stay up. But I also said that this battle would be a rollercoaster for all involved. Bournemouth need another few points yet. Hopefully they get them against Leicester and Leeds. But if they don't...

I genuinely think we are going down. In my opinion it was 3 spaces for five teams. I think Southampton And Forest are down, which reduces that to one space for three teams. I still think Leicester escapes as they have goals in them, and even though Leeds have Imploded last couple of games, they have goals in them as well. The worst result of the weekend in my opinion was ours against a Fulham with nothing really to play for and without their star striker and at home - we have also seen this run before with us……we do relatively ok…..hit a sequence of matches were expectations are low (in this case Chelsea, Spurs, Utd) but then the results continue to struggle. There’s still hope of course but if I were a betting man, I would bet on us going down for those reasons

I’ll admit I thought they were in real trouble but they’ve definitely turned a corner . they recruited heavily in January so I don’t know if that’s had an impact .

I’m certainly not writing off Leeds because every team in it is there on , whatever’s the opposite of , merit . Any of us in that mini league can go , as much as I was happy to see Leeds battered we’ve just let 3 in against a Fulham team hopelessly out of form and missing their top scorer .

We all keep saying it We need points and fast but where they come from is a mystery .

They beat Leicester the other week. They have away game at Southampton in a few weeks.

Southampton could go on a run and get above us.

Ah, Southampton. That must have been why I was confused. You're right. It's actually worse for Bournemouth than I thought in that they play three desperate sides in a row: West Ham, Southampton, and Leeds. The thing with Southampton is that is a derby.

While Bournemouth are odds-on to stay up now, they're not completely out of the woods just yet - and it is not impossible that they take 0-1 points from those three games.

They might start to protect what they have and take draws in the coming games. That might be dangerous. They look a better side on the attack.

Plenty of ups and downs to come yet.
