Maybe, we're heading in one direction though.
Halftime at palace you looked like you were a lot safer than a lot around you , that shows how easily things can change . It’s a mini-league now made up of pretty crap teams with fragile confidence so it takes little for things to shift . A long way to go , we’re all in trouble and all pretty nervous I assume .

Yeah, we’re certainly in trouble.. If we are saved it will be by luck rather than being better (we were too good to go down last season).

Leeds have an horrific run in, so I can’t see them escaping. Leicester worry me though, they have a far far better squad than us, Leeds or forest and surely they’ve got to show that quality at some point?
Well, it's still in our own hands. So the luck-getting has to be had by Leicester.

Leeds I can see getting a couple of wins. That combined with their two point advantage make it hard but not impossible for us to get above them.

If Leicester dont beat Wolves on saturday I think itll be very difficult to make a case for them. Leeds will probably see them off at Elland Road...just.

Bottom line for me is that if we have a 3 man midfield of Doucoure / Onana / Gueye for enough games we'll stay up.

Yep. Leaders like Coleman we need on the pitch.

…..was thinking exactly the same this morning. We clearly lack quality so we need players who aren’t fragile & aren’t afraid of the situation we’re in. Leaders.

The Doucoure absence has been key to us not picking up points, Dyche will be desperate to have him back as he hasn’t found a formula without him.

How are you guys feeling?
After our last 2, can't see us having a hope of staying up. Think it will be Leeds, Southampton and one other.

Fans of all team down at the bottom think their own team won’t ever get another point and all the teams around them will get 2-3 wins despite not winning in 9 or 10 games previously. Everton fans are some of the worst at it.

Outside the relegation zone with 7 games to go, only one of them against a top 6 team, and the nearest team only 2 points away? Let’s hope Dyche doesn’t have the same attitude as some on here calling relegation already. There’s 21 points to play for ffs.

More annoyed about Fulham now, really was a golden chance to capitalise on others.
There is no point in continuing to be annoyed about something that nothing can be done about now. The players have to put it behind them asap and fans need to as well.

If we collectively don't believe that we can go into the upcoming games and get the points required then we have no chance. Now that we have almost reached the point of no return, it is entirely feasible that we can go to Palace and get something, beat Newcastle and not lose at Leiecester.

We have to believe.

Yep. Leaders like Coleman we need on the pitch.
Since Dyche has come in, either a rolled pass or a short kick out to Coleman has been a standard release ball by Pickford. And Coleman has proven quite effective in advancing and beating a man or a short pass and run by them to retain posession. It has been an effective pressure release valve up the right and was painfully absent last Saturday. Cue the awful long balls to Maupay.

His return to the starting eleven and ability to last as close to 90 mins as we need him will be critical in the run in.

Leeds currently seem to be as badly run as us at the moment, but you need to also throw in Forest, who are a mess and also Leicester, who seem to have been bitten badly by FFP.

I don`t know a lot about your manger, but looking from the outside in, surely he needs to stop playing gung ho footy and massively tighten things up and play safety first.

He needs to make that two point advantage really count.

It`s anyone of four from Leeds, Everton, Forest and Leicester.

By law of averages surely Palace won't win 4 in a row? Maybe they'll take the foot off a little and we'll get something
This is what worried me about Fulham. I couldn't see them losing, what, five league matches on the bounce? I mean, it's Marco Silva managing them, not Frank Lampard.

If we do go down then these are the results that killed us. Absolutely criminal to take just one point from these. Even turning a couple of those defeats into draws would’ve seen us in a much more comfortable position.

Everton 1-1 Forest
Everton 0-1 Leicester
Everton 1-2 Wolves
Everton 1-2 Southampton
Everton 1-3 Fulham
The Wolves and Saints games when we were leading are the real kick in the nuts.

Just seen Richys miss to put Spurs ahead in injury time 🤮
A good heart has Richi, but the idea that he was a consistently reliable top class forward was always fanciful. I wouldn't blame him for a moment for leaving Everton. But sometimes you find your level and while ambition is a good thing, a little self awareness goes a long way too. Take Seamus Coleman. Now, I've never been the biggest fan of my fellow countryman, but in his younger days he was snappy, brave, had a good attitude, and could reliably defend. Most of all, he knew his limits. That's a strength in a man. He's had a good career. I have the feeling he appreciated it. So, while I may criticise him now for being a good four years over-the-top, I applaud his intelligence and would never question his smarts. Richi? Not so much.
